Do you waive to other ppl that drive the same car as you?

Waiving was meant for the time when bikes were few and far between.
If you ride e.g. Forks of the Credit then you will see a bike every 15 seconds during the weekend.
Pay attention to the road.

Agreed.

I waive, but as a response, less often initiating the exchange, and really only to save GTAM from threads like these.

Only on out of town trips do I usually initiate as in the boonies the rider excganges get les frequent and it's nice to say hello...

i still do the head nod, but I was never a big waver... and I personally think its more of a respect thing. If you nod or wave on small 125cc then generally no.

these guys wave.

Wave all the time. The best is Stuck in a heavy downpour or 3 degree weather gotta acknowledge the other rider. Yep we are out in this and love it!

I often wave to cows close to the fence, who notice me.
They usually wink back.

I always wave unless I can't because I'm clutched in or something and pretty much everyone waves back so don't know who you've been waving to lol.

Never gets old:

This video will teach you how to wave properly.

Make sure you watch it right to the end.

This is perfect for those with troublesome neighbors. Go away for the day and leave this cranked. :)

I wave when I'm not preoccupied txting.
Lol, me too.
I don't think it's that big of a deal, I can remove 1 hand off my throttle to do a wave. It's just different bikes and styles. I'm riding a sportbike, i'm definitely not gonna try to wave at the cruiser riders and hope hes part of our forum..

I wave when it is safe and convenient to do so.

Reasons:

It really is US versus THEM, and I like to recognize and acknowledge someone who is demonstrably on my side in our battle against the muscleheads in their muscle cars and the jerks in their Audis.

I like the smile that I get when I wave from the seat of my $3000 motorcycle to the rider on the $800 scooter. Some of them are astonished to see someone wave when riding a genuine motorcycle.

Exception: In Daytona, during Bike Week, we actually are in the majority, and there is no way anybody can wave at one quarter of the motorcyclists. So we wave at nobody ... no offense intended, and none is taken.

I hope motorcyclists continue to wave at one another, much of the time, for a long time to come.

i've been riding for the past 4 days, it's really rare to see bikers wave anymore, I realize most bikers who wave are joy riders, for me as a commuter nobody cares about the waving.

I haven't encountered this battle you speak of.
Please tell me where the battle occurs so I can join in the good fight with my 2 wheeled brethren against these evil doers!
When I drove an S4 or my old Mustang I never felt like running over anybody on a bike.

And yes, I've ridden all through Florida, top to bottom and back again.
