Do we no longer wave at each other?

Do you only wave to riders in full gear?

Perhaps I missed the memo, but no one waves back!!!

Lol... Dude, you're 6 months too early. This thread is only meant to be brought up 10x in the Spring.

Lol picture responses.

I actually prefer just minding my own business

BBC did an expose on this very problem couple years back. It turns out riders didn't like taking hands off the throttle. I don't think that's the problem here, tho. I wonder what gives?

True, we don't need to hold on to left handlebar to accomodate the speedy salute

i wave whenever i can, big scooters, any type of motorcycle and to the little toddlers waving at me while they cross the street infront of me holding their moms hand lookin at me like im some type of alien lol

Do you waive to other ppl that drive the same car as you?

Waiving was meant for the time when bikes were few and far between.
If you ride e.g. Forks of the Credit then you will see a bike every 15 seconds during the weekend.
Pay attention to the road.

I wave whenever I can. But sometimes downtown is all about survival, so I'll give the nod instead.

It's late in the season. I have waved to too many other bikers. I just want to give it a rest.
I will wait until it's -5 degrees and I only see one other biker on the way to work in the morning.
Afternoon's when it warms up to +1. I'm not waving.

Waving is over rated.

thats cold man :o

People on here bash each other mercilessly for riding a different brand/bike, wearing gear/not wearing gear, speeding/not speeding, running from cops/not running from cops, newbie/not newbie, etc. but when it comes to waving all of sudden a lot of the same people want us to all hold hands and sing Kumbya? I don't think so. Little too hypocritical for me.
