Who cares what the damn bill looks like. I'm spending it not staring at it. If they came out with a bill that was a posted note with $100 drawn on it in crayon I'd be more than happy to spend it just the same.

The woman doesn't look Asian at all. She has light wavy hair for one thing. The focus group must've thought she had squinty eyes from looking through the microscope. If you showed this bill to Asians, they would not think the woman looks Asian.

I think the obvious point is being missed, men discovered insulin as a treatment for diabetes, she (Asian or otherwise) should be making sandwiches for the brains behind the discovery

I always though that we should put someone on our bills who has actually achieved something and is inspirational like Terry Fox, Rick Hansen or Roberta Bondar.

It's a shame scientists do not receive the acknowledgement that they rightly deserve. Discovering insulin has save thousands of lives over the last few decades
