Newb Passenger looking for Ride-alongs

If you hang out with guys who ride bikes than you can befriend them and ask them to take you with them.

Isn't it better to actually talk to people first a bit instead of jumping on the back of the motorcycle with a total stranger? It is also better for them as well. I like to know my passengers, at least a little, before I take them anywhere.

It seems like I'm not very popular with the riders here....everyone's thinking I'll be taking a kidney or two. Like I said I only smacked JollyGreenGiant several times, but I bought him ice coffee. What else do you guys want?

Ha! If I remember correctly you took a very similar turn too long again. So are you still scared?

Shhhhh... That was 2 pages ago. We've forgotten about that now.

Nah I'm not scared. And honestly if we were closer I might have taken you up on the offer. But I have no doubt you'd be better off with 90% of the other people on this forum as I've only been riding for 2 months. Like every time I pull up the front tire I **** myself and forget where the rear brake is, or if I corner sharp enough I drag my foot on the ground because its in the wrong spot. Still need some practice haha. Probably shouldn't be riding with passengers any time soon.

I may take you on a ride....... for an Iced Cap. Wait till I get back to Toronto

I was interested. But no funny business and no salty innuendo? @joebass, tell her I've got other admirers who take me for what I am.

I appreciate the honesty! I'll hold you to it 48Connor, once you have that experience under your belt we'll see if you still need tinfoil hats. Practice makes a safe driver... Take Slow&Steady with you, seems like he has all the moves.

Joebass is my Dad#2 on this forum. He'll definitely point out the bad apples... so if you are one, he may not be your best bet.

@DECIMIS, the first one to give me fatherly advice and told me to be careful. I still have a few more Dads here and I think @PrivatePilot is more or less kind of like mom.

Go back a few pages in the thread. Been there, done this. ;)
Pretty sure a few of us said this.

Who's your dad#1 on the forum, out of curiosity.

Joe bass will be one of my best men at my wedding.
This just brought a tear to my eye.
@Napster90, I love @slowandsteady like a son. He's intelligent, mature and has a good head on his shoulders. He's also disgustingly good looking. Like to the point that I can't even get my burrito made when he's around. It's like I don’t even exist.
Oh, and my son LOVES his bike.

I don't know what your experience with moms has been... but doesn't sound pleasant. The moms I've known are generally caring, wants to make sure you do the right thing, points out areas for improvement & always one step behind on the conversation (I.e. sushi comment).

As for you @joebass I'm very disappointed with you... Slow&Steady is obviously a terrible choice. He 'LOVES' his bike meaning he may sacrifice the safety of his passenger to save his bike. I thought you always said safety first :(... And being ridiculously good looking means you're judging by looks and not substance. As for mature... you didn't read what he wrote earlier did you? I didn't think you were going to sell me out like that Dad#2...

Kidneys aside, riding a motorcycle is a risky proposition. I like to have a few words with my pillion if I don't know them all that well so the whole experience doesn't feel like a wrestling match.

I honestly don't get why is it so crucial for this element of surprise to exist here.
Blind dates rarely work out and blind motorcycle dates?
This is not a romantic film, this is real life. ;)

5 pages and not a single picture.......weak

Well DP are you offering to take me? I'm already being isolated and... blind dates don't work out because we have too much expectation. People are people, be genuine, be considerate and everyone can be friends.

That's a matter of perspective; I've known some hot mamas.. that said, I'm quite sure @PrivatePilot is not my type.
