Newb Passenger looking for Ride-alongs

I have never, nor will never, carry a passenger, on my bike !!!!

Exactly... So why bother privately messaging people I want to go with? My post is up and those interested will respond and those who are not, can simply move on.

No I dont want to be, at fault legally. If a passenger gets, hurt ! realize this, if you do one thing, and I mean , one thing against the laws written, and a passenger gets hurt, or worse killed ! that passengers lawyer, be the lawyer obtained, by the next of kin, in the worst case scenario, Or the passenger, if the passenger, is maimed ,you will be paying that passengers, next of kin for life ! I have never, nor will never, carry a passenger, on my bike !!!!
Sounds fun. If this threads very existence is such an affront to you why click on it? Why bother posting in it?
@Napster90 carry on and have your fun, the mods don't seem to have any issue.

I get your point. You've lived in Toronto far too long and your jaded as all hell.

IMO I dont see anything wrong with what Napster did here. Go to the source for what she wants and she's had success doing so. We are social creatures by nature and the intent of this forum.

Sure we've poked fun but it was all with good intentions. I applaud those that have decided to help a fellow human out.

On a lighter note...

You're definitely not original. @-D- already wrote the same thing about 200 posts ago. I'm going to give you the same answer I gave him. I have half a dozen dads on this forum. I am certain they would agree manners are necessary. You can insult me, but don't insult the generous individuals who have offered me a chance to go with them. If this thread is so irritating to you, please move on. Your presence will not be missed.

You sound fun to party with.

I have a friend who met a girl on a ride at tims and married same girl later, they sold their bikes and bought yamaha vino.

Sold their bikes for a scooter?? That sounds like a reason NOT to do it...

Have you nothing better to do? Lol skip this thread and live your life dude.

Geez, this thread gained a good 8 pages since I last read anything on here.

I wish I was half as cool as they are... Speaking of which you were one of those who said your extra helmet doesn`t fit. So if I get my own, does that mean you`ll take me?

Not until I get my biked tuned up.

I have never, nor will never, carry a passenger, on my bike !!!!

I feel bad for you man, you're missing out.

I've been carrying passengers as soon as I've gotten my license back when I was teenager. I've probably carried up to over 15 different passengers at this point (I don't know, I lost count after 10), from my kid brother and sister, to my male and female friends, and to my ex-girlfriends. Heck, I even took my old man as a passenger at one point and he has his own bike.

I understand most people on here want to be super safe when it comes to liability issues and what not, but are you really that un-confident with your abilities? Carrying a passenger isn't rocket science.

Don't know if you do any traveling.

I've been to South East Asia, and in Thailand/Laos/Vietnam, they 3up/4up/family-up there. You'll see a woman sitting as a passenger carrying a baby, no one really wears gear or a helmet there. You'll see things there that you would never see here, like loading up their bikes with all sorts of equipment (propane tanks et,cetra). I seen 3 kids looking around the age of 10 all rolling on 1 bike.

You'll probably see the same in South America where laws are lax.

Anyways, my point is; what you see as a liability and are afraid of doing, people in other parts of the world are doing as an everyday normal routine. But whatever, "You do you", man.

LOLOL, I like how ZX600 had to use the word easy twice in one sentence, just to show how tense this feliixx dude sounds.

Always laugh when someone brings that point up. Sure, there is nothing really wrong about carrying a single passenger assuming they sort of know what they are doing, but trying to say because people ride 4-10 to a bike in other countries then it is ok/safe...when probably 1 out of 10 of those bikes don't make it until the end of the week. I've even heard in the past that in some countries that are like that, EMS doesn't even respond to bike accidents, as there are so many they can't keep up, nor could they save anyone 90% of the time if it wasn't a minor fender bender.

They also have the advantage of working their way up to 2up with humans, starting with a sofa or a bag of rice or a group of chickens in a cage. Eventually graduating to a go at and then grandma.

If you start your circus clown apprenticeship at 2yr. old riding quintuple is going to look natural. They teach monkees to ride amirite. They could probably be exempt from any distracted driving laws, they're that good.

you sound like your not comfortable riding bikes.......if thats the case you are better off not carrying any passengers but you should not critique others for doing so.
