This thing has been around for several years and is still in prototype stage. Wouldn't bet on seeing it for sale anytime soon.
I like the look of it but apart from the pushrods (wow) what else does this bike offer that the ST 1300 does not already offer?
Depending on the price point, there will be a small market for this bike as there is for the Saleen and other boutique cars but not enough to sustain this project and to provide a real ROI.
Handling is probably better than an ST.... but ya there isn't any massive revolution. Price will be important. Either they price it high to make lots of money per unit, or they go lower and make it on volume.
Tjis bike will offer full-on superbike performance in a comfy american made sportbike....
That's a bit of a stretch I think. It's heavy and the engine is over 1600cc. It'll never have superbike performance.
WTF is the sound fuss? How can the sound give any indication of performance and it's not like I sleep by my idling bike.
