Need a 2.5M security chain, 14mm+..Help?

so you dont lock when you go out ? what if someone steals it ?

Well lets say i'm the OP and i'm out with my bike, I probably wouldn't worry about it being stolen from my underground parking. You know, since it's not there and all.

According to the statistics, yes

I would guess that thefts from underground garages are planned, rather than a theft of opportunity.
I doubt many bikes are stolen just off the street by an opportunistic thief walking by.

I don't leave my bike unattended (outside of alarm range) when out and about.

It's fine to say you have insurance, but it still sucks to get your stuff stolen. Insurance will NOT cover the full replacement value of the bike and any goodies you added to it. You will be out of pocket for a more than insignificant amount of $$ if not riding time.

I have insurance, I dont care if the bike gets stolen.. go ahead, have it. I'll get another one

But see, they'll be back to take your replacement. I met a guy at the January show and he had bike stolen, he bought another one and they stole that too.
How many times until insurance denies your claim

Oxford Monster XL Chain is your best options save up for one. If they use a grinder their going through a few wheels prior to getting through it and someone will see what their up to not to mention cause a bunch of noise and smoke in the process. Tie the chain up high as possible off the ground as possible to avoid freeze and sledge hammer attack. Get a pager alarm on top of that so you know if someone around the bike. Use a cover and lock the bike some place out of heavy traffic.
