My bike is drunk on 94 octane :(

Suzuki Of Nemarket = SON

Final verdict:
Drained out mostmof the 94 octane, put in fuel injector cleaner, put in 87 octane, put in the new battery, she purrs again. Thank you for the help everyone.

now I wonder if it was the gas or was it the battery? lol either way glad it's fixed. possible you got some bad gas. I know it's not because of 94 octane because I use to run it in my gixxers for the longest time before I knew about ethanol. Now I just run shell 91 octane.

my bike did the same thing after i took it outta storage....i knew i had put eneough stabil in it...may be it was bad gas...

Battery it is....

What did you do with the 94 octane..?

I'll take it, because you were drunk enough to drain it.... #BatteryProblems

Some things don't change.....S.O.N. seem to be one of them.

On the fuel thing, always run the lowest octane you can/manual says to. Octane is just the fuels ability to resist detonation.

Not to sidetrack but it is not that simple. The EPA testing is done with ethanol free fuel. Here only 91 most places is ethanol free. My bike specifies "minimum" 87. This makes me suspicious that "optimum" might actually be a different number. So I've been using 91. I'm also an air cooled engine.

I've mentioned it before but that pure-gas list is basically useless. It's based on user submissions and it's not vetted or updated by anyone.
