MTO clerks can be just plain unfair

ajpower;2133615. Maybe I would have fared better with someone else but it's too late now. Waiting for the new slip to arrive this week....[/QUOTE said:
well,, now I am sure they have YOU flagged in the system... when you go back in.. watch the screen if you can.. or the clerks eyebrows.... as the screen goes red.. and they usually open their eyes wide, or lift their eyebrows... subtle ,, but watch, you will see!!
they will ask a question like... DOB? then they have proof YOU are the guy who was in earlier, and for sure are past the expiry date! and have come in with bogus papers....
They will ask.. documents?,,, drivers license please..
then,, they will start typing... when they start typing... RUN!! ...grab that license back.. RUN,,, they are sending an email to the P O L I C E so they can come and bust you! ... run!

Wtf?

That's not nice man, why are you trying to scare this nice gentleman?

Just go to a different office. I would have done that immediately and saved all the worrying. Worst they can do is say no and you wait for the new cert.

+1

When I went to register a trailer I bought from the US, the first MTO office gave me some runaround about going downtown to fill in some import forms. So I just went to another MTO office and they registered it on the spot, no muss, no fuss.

Someone I know told me he got a blue plate for his dirtbike this way... :)

i just recently register a bike I bought 1.5 years ago and not a single complaint from the MTO clerk. so yea that 7 day law/rule isn't enforced.

Case closed. The new safety slip came by registered mail today. GP Bikes came through and did what I asked them to. Nothing like adding extra stress to the situation.

^ ^ ^ that`s it.

maybe stupid question but. that DMV clip is from Family Guy? never watched it but i am guessing it is from Family Guy because up pops Family Guy clips
at the end of this one. Since Netflix has 11 seasons of that show i have lots of catching up to do :)

$400 to Barrie!

Lmao. I have to raise my prices. Holy ****.

GP cycle to Barrie, if you don't own a truck and trailer, straps and a cover, have 1.5 ? hrs each way to spare and its a business, I think 400.00 is actually pretty fair. Truck/trailer/Ins/tax on earnings, he'd need $400.

So he's taking in approx. $800 per day before expenses. $4000 per week. Not a bad way to make a buck if you can keep busy. A lot of people would be happy with less.

Now that's a mighty-big elephant in this room

Maybe. I know what I take home as a "skilled" unionized construction worker. The gap between that and $4000 should easily cover expenses and then some. For being a delivery boy.

IF YOU CAN KEEP BUSY. That is the key here. I HIGHLY doubt you could keep that busy in real life.

So after the 100 or more in gas and maintaining a truck and trailer he would be lucky to make 1500 a week.
