Perhaps with an F-350+ tow vehicle, but it doesn't magically make your average vehicle capable of a 1200 lb tongue weight.

No need to apologise. Just more information for those still interested. Thank you. Looks like an ankle/shin,tibia and fib weapon. If it does not get you on the first visit it will get you when you come back. :-)

Versa Haul, used one for years. Need AirLift bags installed though to keep the back end from squatting.

That was what I was originally looking for. Thought at the time it would be perfect. However, with the wisdom from many folks here. Not really, not good enough for my vehicle. Mitsubishi Lancer GTS.

I built a rack that I bolted on the rear of my Toyota Echo and hauled a Suzuki TS125 (1980) to an event. Although it worked well I was pretty sure I was probably overloading something and only used it the once. It bolted to the rear sub frame in the same spots my trailer hitch kit was eventually connected. This is the same place where they mount the tie downs for shipping this car.

I posted a pic of the set up on this forum years ago.

That is the same one I have, it works great and haven't had any issues so far. I will let you guys know if my bike falls down on the highway though. I have not read or seen too many real life examples of them failing, can someone share if they find some.

LOL!!! Why didn't this pr!ck get out of his car and let the guy driving the RV know his bike fell off?
 
looks like he followed and tried...but I wouldn't be jumping out into traffic to tell them either. I've pointed out things to other road users before. Sometimes they know/acknowledge and sometimes they are confused.
