Well then... I think I may still keep the order, as it was close to $300 in savings, and I'm sure any warranty issues can be dealt with the manufacturer hopefully. Also I'm not sure they would sell a damaged item, they would return it to the manufacturer or list it as open box/used, otherwise that's a little shady idk

Part of the item I picked up on sale that got removed from the sale the same day as the tent/pad, was a MSR fuel bottle, also close to 40% off, no way they would sell a used/damaged fuel bottle
 
i did end up also buying a used eureka timberline off kijiji

The Last Hunt is the same for no returns. Never had issues there either but if you’re buying clothes or shoes you really need to know what size you are In that brand.

might be true with shoes and clothes, but i also wouldn't feel good if i had a tent show up that i thought when purchased as going to be new and find out that its a worn demo model or a return with issue
 
May have been a good idea you cancelled, been a few weeks and they're still processing my order with nothing even shipped, let alone ready, not to mention the charge on m CC got refunded on its own, so not sure what's going on with them. No call option, and takes a few days to hear back on E-mail

everyone has issues with shipping. I got an email that they were preparing stuff. Already got one order that was shipped.

True, I'm still going to wait and see without cancelling, the tent is out of stock everywhere else, and at close to 50% off for it and the sleeping pad which are full price everywhere else on the web, worth waiting to see what happens

I'm still waiting on a gun that was shipped on 12 April. Supposed to have been here 10 days ago. I’m still not that worried.

Maybe you'll just get a cheque from JT for "fair market value" however they are trying to figure that out. This is going to be like dieselgate where people strip them down to the bear essentials to be considered a gun (what is that in canada, upper receiver?), get the cheque from JT and sell the rest of the parts south of the border.

just got the update email from atmosphere saying my marmot has already shipped
 
I attempted to buy a blood oxygen saturation sensor through NewEgg on April 18th.
Looks like it imports from China, and export of it, might be currently banned.
NewEgg shows it as in transit. Details show it as Label created on April 20th.
We'll see.

I bought this chair for bike camping last year
small, light, fairly sturdy, comfortable
though flopping into it may end badly if you're a typical NA dude

I got the high back version of one like that a while back. No complaints. I suspect many are made in the same factory as the ones that sell for several times the price too.
