Not sure if serious.:smilebox:
You win on posts tonight!
Where in my post did I say that? Do you have something against Lorenzo and Rossi fighting for position forr a win? Are you afraid of the possible result?
Fair play means to me that everyone has a right to fight for position. Every rider should fight for position just as a hard with anyone on the track. Fair play to me means you don't let someone pass you and then fight hard when the next guy tries to pass because you have nothing to lose and have a issue with that rider in the past.
A perfect example of fair play to me is when the back markers that are about to get lapped because they are slower that they move over or dont hinder the riders up front.
I never once said that even though Rossi is starting at the back that the riders ahead of him should move over right away. Rossi should earn his passes like anyone else. When he's at the back the riders in front are fighting for position just like he is. I want to see a hard fought legal win. Do you have something against that?
For some reason you seem to be the one that has an extremely biased opinion of facts and is always trying to spin words around...
Not at all. In fact i'm all for removing Rossi's penalty points and just minus his championship points to equal Lorenzo's. This way he qualifies as normal and both of them have to earn it by beating each other in the final race. I always envisioned Valencia as the championship is decided on the very last corner. Oh well..
Should Marquez and Rossi dice it up in Valencia, alot of nonsensical people will see it as Marquez holding him up again. They will not see it as a rider fighting for position. Regardless on what his pace is for the weekend (slow or fast). This is guaranteed.
And i'm sure this past weekend's have further soured Jorge and Vale's relationship. You think we'll see the wall up again?
The points you made above seem reasonable to me.....with one exception. If we penalize Rossi for what is perceived as making Marc crash (which I still believe isn't entirely Rossi,s fault). Then we should aalso penalize Lorenzo for passing under a yellow flag condition. Or anyone else who passed under yellow. I'm not saying Lorenzo did it knowingly. But everyone seems to be talking about penalizing Rossi and applying the rules to him. Including Lorenzo at the post race press conference. Except when Lorenzo was asking if he should aloso be penalized. Lorenzo replied what that has to do with anything. Seems to me Lorenzo is the one that wants special treatment.. The reason a lot of people don't like Lorenzo is not because of his riding talent. Its because he's the biggest hypocrite in MotoGP and out of everyone involved in this situation. He is the one benefiting from this.

A new development.
The sanction imposed by the Race Direction at the Malaysian GP is suspended until further action from the CAS.
On the basis of Article 3.4.2, para 3 of the FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix Regulations, Mr Valentino Rossi has filed an Appeal against the decision taken by the Race Direction of the Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix in Sepang, penultimate round of the FIM MotoGP Grand Prix World Championship, and confirmed by the FIM Stewards, to award 3 penalty points to Mr Rossi following an incident on Turn 14.
In appealing to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), Mr Rossi seeks annulment or reduction of the penalty. He further requests stay of execution of the decision in accordance with Article R37 of the Code of Sports-Related Arbitration.
The FIM will not comment any further at this time.
Lin Jarvis already addressed this...Another thing I've found interesting in this whole deal is Yamaha's silence. I infer that to mean they don't agree with Rossi.
Why are you bringing that up? it's not relevant to this conversation, why do you care?"fully respects the spirit of fair play"
pass under yellow flag no problem ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

lol Quote from Jorge
Cutting it a little close to quali, no? I figured if he knew he was starting from the back he could work on race pace all weekend and just work more on race pace during quali or if he doesn't need more setup than protest by sitting it out! To find out the day before Quali...final decision expect Nov. 6th.
