The post-race press conference has been delayed three times now, MM and VR are in race direction.

This sucks, I gotta pee and don't wanna leave the monitor...that music they're running while waiting is driving me crazy already, it's like being on hold with Rogers..

A push on the foot forward from the back does not make your knee react that way. lol

Edit: Looks like Vale will keep his points, but will start at the back of the grid at Valencia. Oh boy, I think it's only going to get uglier from here.

Edit again: Looks like Vale has 3 penalty points on top of him starting at the back of the grid.

He can definitely come off as a big d-bag. But he's definitely not PC and will speak his mind.

Looks like Lorenzo blew his lid. LOL

MM is a jackass, why doesn't he just announce he's racing to help Lorenzo win? In Australia, he held Rossi behind on purpose to get him tangled with Ianone. In Sepang, during qualifying he was purposely towing Lorenzo. At the race start, he tried to push Rossi wide before the first corner, then without a doubt let Lorenzo overtake him, then tried to hold Rossi back and trying get Rossi to crash. I'd say Rossi has lost the fight for the title now, but Lorenzo is a low life to want to win the world title like this! Just could stand Lorenzo at the press conference...

I'll bet in the last race, the people in the back will just let Vale pass through easily to let him have a chance to fight back for the title, cause MM helping Lorenzo win is BS

I think Valentino's championship is gone. With only 7 points between him and Lorenzo he basically needs to finish right behind Lorenzo.

Starting from the back? I don't see that happening.

wait....why is MM the one getting blamed?

Imo, I think it's quite clear Rossi stuck out his knee. All I saw was some hard racing and then the incident happened. Vale blew his top and decided to purposely run wide. If he felt that Marquez was jeopardizing his championship hopes by battling with him, he's the one who needs to examine himself. He did the same thing in Motegi 2010.

2nd place guy probably left cuz all he heard was boos. lol
That wasn't a race between MM and VR, that was a game. The same game MM played at Philip Island. It's unprecedented, unsportsmanlike and completely without merit. MM can hold a grudge against VR but that should never make its way onto the track.

Having said that, VR still has to be held to account for whatever his share of responsibility is for the crash. He obviously lost his cool for one, and when he went to 'play the game' against MM he was careless with his movement in a very tight racing situation. That's all that happened, and it actually happens a lot in close racing and the rider who is responsible is penalized with points and/or a grid penalty. So I'm very much in agreement with the outcome from race direction.

Of course some disagree, but it seems that disagreement rests on the premise that VR crashed MM deliberately. But there's no way in the world he set out to make him crash. I don't believe there is even a single rider in the world who would do such a thing on purpose. And knowing VR and his approach to racing it's all the more impossible to imagine that he would have even thought about making someone crash.

JL thinks it was deliberate and that VR should have been disqualified from the race, but honestly if anyone tried to crash another rider on purpose they should have their license revoked for good. Such a mindset is unconscionable and there can be absolutely no tolerance for it regardless of who it is or how much money is involved.

As for MM, I think race direction should also do something about the games he's playing on track. But first they have to acknowledge that he's doing it, and most people seem to think what he did was simply race hard. Sorry, but that's complete bullcrap.

Also no review from race direction on Lorenzo's pass on Rossi under a waved yellow.

Seems like no one noticed?? He should have been told to give up the position.... But I think his pace was better than Rossi's and he would have passed him regardless.

So, does Marquez knock his foot off, or does Rossi kick him... hmmmmmm.

How many times have you stuck an elbow out on a MX track, not to upset the other rider but to balance and protect yourself? No malicious intent. This was a convenient time to do the same with knee. 50/50. Taking into consideration the full scope of the championship, and MM messing with the outcome, I would give the benefit of the doubt to Rossi. Putting him at the back of the grid is not the right answer, that's just politicizing the championship further. Had he done this to JL that would be different.

I didn't see any obvious signs that MM was slowing down VR. They both probably could have gone quicker if they weren't tripping over each other, but MM obviously didn't care to work with VR and try to catch up with JL.

All MM cared about was getting ahead of VR. It looks like VR got frustrated that MM wouldn't work with him (shocking, eh??) and tried a drastic move to mess with him. Hard to say if he actually meant to knock him down or just break his rhythm so he could get away out of T14 and get a bit of a gap.

Either way it was very bizarre and I've never seen anything like that before. I can understand how VR could be frustrated thinking he could go faster if MM would just tuck in behind him.... But VRs actions were just bizarre.....

I thought Tim's thoughts were spot on tbh, I don't have a favorite rider in motogp I root for either.

That yellow flag seems to be for pol running wide, and the Marshall being flag happy when there was really no incident requiring a flag.
