MotoGP 2014

Who needs to watch it now? The results all posted already. Not even 10 am. Bravo chimera

Apologies......

It's been done before though so next time remember that and don't go on any social media sites or social web forums ;)

Oh and thanks for calling me out on this, I've not seen you call out anyone else who's posted results in the past (either this season or previous ones)

*removed spoiler*

Too little too late. Was going to pleasure myself this afternoon with intense viewing pleasure. Now I guess I can wash the microwave or something.

Super sincere butthurt apology not accepted. Just admit you screwed up, it's way less embareskin.

Ok I screwed up.

I'm removing myself from the 2015 thread (I will not contribute incase I screw up again) so you all will have nothing to worry about for next season.

I'm only human and I was super excited.

Apologies....

For being so harsh for you to quit life but I'm a dick and everybody knows that so you shouldn't have looked at my post.

IMO, you should worry about this. It's a MotoGP thread, it's purpose is to discuss the races. Somebody doesn't want spoilers but deliberately opens a thread with MotoGP title, that person is an idiot. Plain and simple.

It was 930 in the bloody morning before the links were even posted to see the race. Hardly makes a person an idiot to come looking in a MotoGP thread first thing in the morning for a link to see it. Now if you're done with the childish name calling carry on.

First of all, the title of the thread is not "MotoGP download links". I guess you've just paid the price for cheaping out on the MotoGP subscription. It always beats me how people would spend many hundreds of dollars on things like fancier helmets or other stuff; the hobby is certainly expensive, but paying for something clearly part of your interest doesn't qualify. I stand by my earlier words.

Maybe we should have a spoiler free thread for links?

I was really disappointed with the Moto3 title fight. Not a big fan of the winner, I feel AM has a great opportunity to win the Moto2 title next year. Whereas Jack Miller will have to wait a few years before he has a chance at a word title.

Jack Miller might jump onto Crutchlow's satellite seat in 2016. Ultimately, fight it out with Redding to get Pederosa's seat in 2017. I think it's going to be a make or break for Redding in 2015. Because MarcVDS will have two strong riders in their Moto2 class: Alex & Rabat who will want that MotoGP seat.

Moto2 chequered flag finish was unbelievable. Iniitally I thought Rabat was celebrating early and tried to a wheelie; but in the post-race interview he said fuel problems.

I know some other forums have a /spoiler tag you can use so it hides your post content unless someone specifically clicks the spoiler tag to reveal it? I'll ask Paul if it's something he can implement. Would make for way better conversation without ruining it for people that haven't seen it.

I wasn't aware of the speed channel being dropped or I would have paid for it at the beginning of the season. Next year I will. The money is hardly a concern.

The point was someone posted the results before the link was even posted at the crack of dawn. Common sense would say posting that, you would know there's going to be at least one or likely more that had no idea yet. When someone is good enough to go through all the work of posting it for others, then perhaps common sense could kick in and know not everyone is up first thing in the morning on a Sunday to have seen it yet especially when the link wasn't even posted yet. Now excuse me while I go wax my fancier helmet

OK great now we're going over the documentation with a fine tooth comb. I guess common sense goes out the window when the lawyers show up:rolleyes: You're Chimuras friend, I guess you gotta say something........

^This

The link is the same every week. If you keep forgetting to bookmark it, click on Johnscruiser's name and view his forum posts only and get the link that way. If you click on a thread titled MotoGP 2014, be prepared to see the results and read discussions about "MotoGP 2014"...

I don't think so, using myself as barometer as harbinger to the future.

I wonder if I should edit in all the recent results, you know, to get a feel for the zeitgeist?

.

Nah, the world, and the internet should go on hold while some self-entitled people decide we should all wait for them and their personal schedules.

Look kids, even the Dorna Videopass site will post the race result before you can click through to a video. If you really are a fan of this racing, it shouldn't matter.

If this really is how you have to enjoy MotoGP, stay off the interwebnets the day of a race or move to a cave, whatever.

It's not about schedules or being entitled but thanks for coming out. Here's a picture because apparently English and you aren't getting along today. Look at the times.

Let's just drop it now. Less fancy helmets and more money for a subscription next season. Added to the reason to find another forum.

I don't know Chimera, nor do I know Roomie. In fact, I don't even know what helmet he has and have never seen either of them.

MotoGP has a "no spoiler" link for people whose schedule doesn't agree with watching races live. Here it is, straight from my bookmarks: http://www.motogp.com/en/videos-nospoiler

Quite honestly, I do think there should be a "MotoGP download links" thread. Many people on here paid the motogp subscription, and I'm sure I don't speak only for myself when I say it's a bit annoying to get email notifications to come to the thread, just to find links I don't need and later a bunch of Thank you's from a bunch of people. Johnscruiser is a great guy helping people out, and I have nothing against that. Problem comes when these "clients" come here and start complaining about spoilers, which was the case from today. Over and out.

Me too. I hope we can put this unfortunate egaff behind us and please reconsider your 2015 MotoGP involvement. I predict good things.

On any race day ( moto gp, f1 , or wsbk) I avoid the internet, tv and tell my friends not to text me anything. The last thing I would do is open a moto gp thread. Dont be so hard on chimera

I'd like to dedicate this page to Nicky Hayden because it costs me nothing and that's the type of fan I am.
