mosport July 5th

I had a frigging blast today also.

So good, all is right at mosport for me.

I was also trying out my new to me ZX6, took until the last session for it to "feel" right for me.

Great day on the track! I was also stretching the legs on my new zx6r. Now we're on the 401 not even at the 400 yet... 3.5 hours so far.

Great day, I think I saw your bike a few times mostly from behind lol

First time to Mosport ever. What a fast track. I've never ridden it with the concrete so I can't compare. The new asphalt is a bit bumpy in spots but it works. Thanks to Pro 6 for a great day. Hopefully they will want the bikes back again at "Canadian Tire Motorsport Park " so I can have another go.:D

There were a lot of really fast riders in red yesterday. It took me until the afternoon to get up to speed enough to start making some passes (except for passing those on warm up laps). I managed a 1:36.7 best lap. That's fast enough for me. haha

I stepped it up every time I went out. What a kick.

I went into yesterday with low expectations, maybe get a session or two before the rain, but with no rain and some great riders I had a blast. First time on Mosport so I can't compare to the concrete, but there were gobs of grip in whatever line you took. Didn't see any of you guys there, but I was pitted in no mans land out in corner 1. By the afternoon I had figured out the lines and damn is that a fast track! Moved up to yellow and ran low-mid 1:40's for the after noon with a best of 1:41.8, not fast, but damn did I have fun! As always Pro6 ran a great day, shame it is the last time they are there this year.

I was surprised that when I finally started nailing turn 5 in the afternoon, and was railing through 8 9 10 my lap times didn't get better. They felt better, but were consistently in the low 1:37's. I have no idea where I was losing time because in the afternoon I was definitely faster everywhere. Maybe it just was never all pieced together on a single lap.

We fluked out with great weather. How T.O. got hammered and we only had a light sprinkle in the morning is crazy.

I really liked new patches. I didn't like threading the needle on the concrete last year. Turn 1 scared me when running the new patch on the outside. There was a bump mid corner that bucked the bike really good. Kept it towards the inside mid corner from there in.

Turn 5b had a good dip/compression. I don't remember it being like that before.

Mosport is such a fun fun track. It's good throttle therapy that you just can't get at TMP or SMP. Our crew all had a blast as usual.

Yes.
Its a lot funner on a 600 Dave. See you there. White and blue #108, my wife on the #107.

Sorry Rob! I completely forgot to look for you and Kana to say hi... I spent most of my day "reflecting" in the pits between sessions. haha

In yellow 1.41 was a good time. There was quite a bit of traffic out yesterday and getting clean laps was a (minor) problem. Didn't really spoil the day though.

It was certainly full, but I seemed to have found a good pocket for most of my sessions where I wasn't being passed nor having to pass that often (in yellow at least). And thanks for the compliment, I wasn't shooting for a time nor paying much attention, but the faster I went the more fun I was having...especially seeing how long I can remain full pinned going into 8.
