Turn #1 has two configurations now original is a fast right (3rd) coming off long straight with a concrete wall 30ft off entire corner. A second oprional right left has been added about 50 ft back of that but it also ends into a accelerating right with a wall on tracks edge which is also pit out.

Turn 2 uses the old oval accelerate in with an opening corner its slightly banked with about 100ft of paved runoff before concrete wall.

Turn 3 is over a slight hill into a downhill probably 3-4 gear into a 90 deg right that is carosel like ending in an uphill straight. Looks like there will be an incursion wall added about 50ft off track.

Turn 4 is a 90 deg left after a short uphill straight likely 2nd gear. Already installed a five foot armco wall about 50 ft off track.

Turn 5 pretty much same as T4 with nice armco wall 50 ft from track.

Turn 6 is a fast left kink coming off a long straight slightly downhill. Expect wall 75-100 ft off surface to prevent incursions.

Turn 7 is where the new track uses some of the old RDT its a double apex left uphill. Shouldnt need walls here.

Turn 8 is where the track splits into two configurations. Config #1 follows old RDT while Config #2 cuts accross infield. #1 is a 45 deg right sweeper with a fence line installed at about 75 ft. #2 is about a 120 deg right.

New section added T8 Config #2

Looking downhill into T9 config #2 from T8

Turn 9-10 Config #1 This is a downhill chicane left then right. No wall on the left but existing tirewall on right aprox 50ft off surface.

Here is the old infield sections that have been removed.

Turn 11 Config #1 fast right kink into heavy braking uphill. Existing tire wall 40 ft off surface.

Turn 12 Config #1 is a uphill 90 Right that has been re radiused. It has about 100 ft at entrance and 20 ft runoff at exit before existing wall.

Turn 13 Config #1 has been shortened and is a downhill entrance with uphill exit about 60 deg. looks like about 200ft runoff.

Turn 14 is an uphill 60 deg left . This is where it merges back with Config 2 at T9. Expect an incursion wall at 50' or so.

T15 Config #1 or T10 Config #2 downhill fast right old RDT back straight area. Existing Tire wall at 50ft.

Turn 16 Config #1 or T11 Config #2 this cuts off slightly before the old RDT maybe 100 ft or so? You go straight with what will be pit in. The turn is slightly less than a 90 maybe 75ish deg right. There will have to be an incursion wall at 75 ft or so. This is coming off what will be a fast straight into second gear.

T17 Config #1 or t12 Config #2 is a slow left kink may be an incursion wall added at 50 ft or so.

T18 Config#1 or T13 Config#2 goes right through where those pipes and gravel piles are onto the front straight. It will be a hard acceleration zone with a wall at 30ft or less as the pit in lane is just to the left of the pic.

Any chance of an overhead drawing of what the track would look like?

Could do one by hand maybe. They arent sharing I got chased out by security as I was leaving :D

Hunter S Thompson's "Song of the Sausage Creature" creeps into my head looking at those walls and barriers.
Have fun car guys,i'll never set a tire on it.

I'd have to see it in person to form an opinion but from the description and photos it doesn't look any more dangerous than the current long track, which many of us eagerly ride.

Walls or no walls I can't wait to try this new track, besides calabogie mosport was my favorite track I've ridden so far. And being only an hour drive for me is great bang for my buck

May not have to worry about it anyway the price of the track is same as big track and there will be a serious bale price thats likely going to put any trackday providers out of the equation, safe or not. By what I have seen its doable for a trackday (kinda like Calabogie) if you can keep your head in the real ugly parts, but absolutely not for racing. The question wont be if you want to ride it or not but more will any trackday providers take up a day at that price and try to sell it? If not your not going to get a sniff at it anyway. I can tell you for certain that SOAR will not be there but to be honest we wont do Calabogie either for the same reason.
As close as I can figure it fixed costs for a weekend trackday rental would be 60/day times two (Sat and Sun) divided by fixed costs (track, bales, ambulance, insurance, marshalls) would put a day spot at $200/day to the rider to break even at sell out. Rain/extra cost/staff would put you in the red pretty fast. Maybe a weekday rental is better not sure.

So bump up the price to calabogie prices and I'll pay it, and if it's a fun track it will be sold out just like calabogie reguardless of the scary walls or higher price. I don't plan to race but if any organizers put out track days there I'd love to try it. Weekdays are even better if they do them

I can't knock it till I try it

So Johnny would you do a 20K roll of the dice and hope it sells out? Real easy to say you will come but I can tell you from experience writing five figure cheques out of a personal account to cover this kinda crapp sucks large and that very few people have the stomach for it. I guess we will see.

Yup thats pretty close turn 13-14 is a bit more of an uphill S.T3 is a bit more of a hook and they only use the entry to the oval not really the actual old track, the track is basically the runoff. So far they have only paved portions so its looking that way. they have added a bunch or drainage and ground away the edges of the old RDT I think they are planning on repaving the whole thing using the RDT sections and new pieces as the base.

That looks like fun. I assume they'll put a gravel pit and bails on the walls etc. But I'm willing to try it nonetheless.

Looks like it would be a fun track. I'd love to try it out since it's so damn close to my house.

Wow that looks way awesomer than what I imagined. Turn three looks really fun, plus a lot of quick kinks. Sign me up!

I would have liked to rent it but not going to happen (and I rent 20 days a year, not a track day bt the WHOLE track). I wont even ride it but thats me. By what I have already seen in person its easily the most dangerous track in Ontario and that takes work. Disgusting! didn't need to be that way.
