Digging old stuff are we? Fair enough. About that ride last year, despite what I said then and there, i made a phone call and got a quick sitrep. There was enough bikers at the scene of crash and (i think) we didn't need another 20 people to haul over there. I took the rest of the people to the prominent destination, where we waited for you guys to regroup with us. And I think, together we did a great job. Good example of team work right there. You being the second person who knew the stops and route volunteered to go back and bring everybody together and it was the logical thing for me to do, which was keeping the pack with me i already had.
So I have heard you got spooked by the cop, ran away and left a brand spanking new rider to the wolves. I wasn't there but I heard all about it.
The two times you got pulled over I was right there next to you. even though the cops had no business with me.
But okay, I am that kind of the rider at end. For the record, I have stopped and helped people put their bikes upright after they had crash, i have got my clothes dirty pulling people's bikes out of the ditch and swamp etc. After all, people only remember and only hear/see the bad ones.
At the end, I have a great deal of respect for you. You taught me riding, you fed food at your house and you supported me morally whenever needed. I'm only stopping riding with you because our perspective toward one another has changed, i understand.
no disrespect whatever, but take care and ride safe.
