Milton Riders

Thanks for coming out thumperx.
Sunday we're going to the shooting range in London (guns guns girls and guns thread). we are leaving from Milton 8ish am. So far it's me thumperx and darazcal. Tabs will have to confirm. Anybody else wants to tag along is welcome, all area codes welcome. It's not gonna be pure highway there will be twisties.

nice seeing you again!
i think i might have to double the wife sunday...she seems interested in coming to the range

I'm down for Sunday for sure....usual spot.

I might not risk Saturday since the weather turned to showers.

See you both.

Thumperx u still wanna check out kahuna on Saturday, I wanna buy me some riding boots and mesh jacket. I was kinda scared taking corners just wearing a t shirt and sneakers.
If it really rains that bad I'll stay home.

try going to royal in guelph...i've seen kahuna's prices and they're pretty expensive in comparison...not to mention, royal's having their biker nights on thursdays now and with it some sales...i got my mesh jacket there for $54 and boots for $45...just my two cents worth...

Not sure if my input is welcome, and it might insite rage and anger from people defending their investments, but I would steer clear of those mesh jackets. I've heard horror stories about melted nylon mesh and how it nicely rolls up with shredded skin. If you're getting riding gear go for a quality 2 piece leather suit with full zipper, or at least a good full nylon suit. Anybody has been down the road not on their bike will surely agree. Even riding with just a jacket and jeans is scary because the jacket will tend to ride up if you're sliding feet first, not to mention that denim also balls up into the skin.

My unsolicited 2 cents. ;)

No arguments here. I agree 100%. Full leather is the only way to go. Cover up whatever you don't want to lose!

i have heard the same of royal. one of the best prices around.

Gixxe r if its not terribly bad we can go to either or both saturday.

I dont agree with the leather statements the others have made. Thats why i tend to ride in the evening.

Supposedly kahuna is having a big sale over the weekend. I bought a scorpion helmet exactly $120 cheaper than royal. I do agree with you that royal's got some good discounts on selected items. Thanks for your inputs people greatly appreciated.
Thumper time/weather permitting we can do both.

sounds good! do you want to join the ride that leave from steeles and financial drive in brampton tonight

If you're in no rush try the states through websites...they have crazy deals especially when our dollar is up to par...motorcyclecloseouts.com they have a sale on Shift gear right now....they don't ship to Canada so you can try kneedraggers.com co'z they price match and they have the same gear for sale as motorcyclecloseouts.com.

but that's just me....

I'm guilty of just wearing a mesh jacket and sometimes just a leather jacket....BUT I AGREE TO THE STATEMENT ABOVE 100%.

My full one piece suite is sitting in my basement in a box.....shame on me!
