Mastercraft 2 Gallon Air Compressor on sale

For me quieter compressors are worth the extra money. I have a Makita 2400 and 700 and a Rolair JC10 (bought to replace a PC pancake). The Mac's are oiled, the Rolair is oilless. The 700 is tall and can tip over if you're not careful, but it has a smaller footprint than the JC10 which makes transporting it easier (as long as it doesn't tip over). All 3 can run a single framing gun or multiple trim guns without much trouble, running rotary tools (impact, ratchet etc.) off the smaller two involves a lot of waiting for the compressor to catch up.

I added piping, a dryer/filter, 16 (or 24?) gallon tank and a hose reel to the 2400 as it is almost permanently in the garage. The garage isn't big enough for a proper vertical compressor. To refill from empty takes less than 3 minutes and when cycling, it is on for less than 1 minute. If you are moving it very often, the 2400 is pretty big and heavy.

IHL has great prices sometimes on Mac, you can buy rolair at Atlas downtown or Interline in Concord. I personally prefer the staff at Atlas over Interline, but hate driving downtown.
