hahaha, i hear that all the time too... but i have my doubts about you old-timers :D ... i would love to come but going up north with some friends this weekend... been a good month and a bit since my last decent ride, unfortunately :confused:

Hey, we old timers have to be back home before bed time, we can't stay up past 9 PM.

Route will be backroads/twisties and little highway.Will stay the day at Parry Sound returning early evening by highway.

Pace will be moderate. There will be plenty of popo so let's keep things reasonable.:)

I am coming from Scarbo/Pickering. Will hopefully see you guys there around 8pm.
 
caa just droped me home. frigin clutch cable snaped. and i didnt even lay it down this time! thankfully it didnt happen on the highway. but it did happen just before we were about to hit the twisty roads.:(

Today was a BAD day for alot of us. I dumped the bike early in the morning and you snap a cable on the twisties. Both of us end up in a CAA towtruck.

Well as someone told me today : At least you walked away from it and are talking about it.

Thanks for leading us 1/2 way there. I tried to catch up the the rest of the guys to let them know about the mishap with the clutch but missed you guys at the turn off...I really enjoyed the ride and will have to meetup with you guys again.. Till we meet again ride save

We thought u guys went some other way. We waited several minutes but then left. Later, the group got broken up again due to directions. It was pretty unorganized but I am glad everyone got home safe.

Had a lot of fun on the backroads on the way back to Toronto :)
 
This was a bad day, started bad with Louis getting hit in the parking lot, lossing the group, bike breaking down, but glad everyone was OK.
I hope we can do this route again, it has some good roads.

Thanx. I'm OK. Front end of bike is smashed up but other party is paying to fix it.

Just be careful in shopping centre parking lots. People think they can go wherever they want and ignore the basic rules of the road.:)

It's great to hear you're okay, Louis!

I'm glad that the person who hit you is taking responsibility for causing the accident and is paying for the damage. Hope it doesn't take too long.

Glad you're OK!

And GRRRRRRR.... It's not just parking lots where we see that kind of behaviour. I've seen Torontoids doing a U turn on an on-ramp on the DVP and going back the way they came (the wrong way), passng on the left side (into oncoming traffic) beside a car signalling that they're turning left, and turning left out of a parking lot exit into oncoming traffic so they didn't have to go around a median. People drive with a bumper car mentality on the roads around here.
