Here is my question. Yes he is a proper sicko and it would make sense that he is the suspect, but how did the police decide that this was their guy. The news is going on and on about the porn and kittens and Karla, and the video, basically his whole background, but there has been nothing that said "the police suspect Luka because he was seen with the victim, or have forensic evidence etc. What was the actual link between him and the body? There are lots of sickos out there.....what is this particular sickos tie to the victim??

I think they're both equally as sick and twisted. But yeah, I don't think anyone believes her battered-wife story anymore.

well........that's pretty damning evidence. But it does only change my question to what evidence got them the search warrent? Was it the smell alone, because I'm pretty sure that would be enough.
 
Someone recognized him in the videos? Recognized his apartment maybe? Who gives a **** really? They found it and thats what matters... now this filthy pig is on the run and someone needs to put a bullet between his eyes.

I don't think anyone actually ever bought that story... she got off easy cause she went to the cops at the perfect time and got the deal right before the videos were discovered.

Totally agree with you there... but knowing our justice system he'll prolly go to prison and get an education and come out with a degree and then be given a secret identity.

True dat. She played the cops until the hard evidence came out.
 
Turns out a neighbour complained about the smell. Looks like the building manager checked it out and called the police. I agree that what really matters is that he's caught. I was just wondering because the last few days the media was going on about the body parts, and then I wake up today and this guy is all over the news.

I'm not sure how they got as far as they did but there was a Casablanca poster in the background of the video and he had a modeling picture that matched the poster and wall.

Luka's snuff video surface a couple of weeks ago in the dark corners of the internet but no one knew if it was real or not at the time. Now it's confirmed it was genuine.
 
I always thought I'd be able to watch the Bernardo videos. I thought that I was surely tough enough for that. But now that there is a similar one a few short clicks away, I think that I may have been fooling myself. I think that I'll call my own bluff and not seek that video out.

Thats the easy way out compared to how he killed the guy.

In the vid apparently he stabbed an individual several times w/ an ice pick, anally raped him, chopped him up, had his dog eat him, take a piece himself and also beheaded him. Not in that order.

I just hope someone can blow off his knee caps & 2 arms.

The apartment was his, he has a history of very violent behaviour, he also dated Karla H. Even if he did not commit this crime, I hope he gets busted for other crimes.
 
I'll study the guys pic and keep an eye out... If he's traveling north/west from Montreal, he'll have to come through Petawawa to get anywhere remote.
Curious as to where the guy is hiding, maybe he has help in Montreal? I saw he made a post a while ago about "how to dissapear"... That would be my first look to see what his plans might be.

Creepy, sick... I saw a couple pics of the body taken from the video, but haven't seen the video... Seeing beheadings gets to me, I've seen videos before of alive people getting it (like the american soldier and a video from eastern europe where the guy flopped around until he bled out). I sort of try to desensitize myself so when I see stuff at work I can just get my job done, but heads without a body or a body without a head will always weird me out.

Also, I'll never trust my dogs around my dead body if they get hungry lol.

Hope we get this dude, and that he pays the price.
