No. That is the non turbo uses 87 and you will get around 350 - 400 km
The biggest issue with the cx5 was the rear seat room was not good.. We stuffed a king size memory foam bed in it a few times with the seats down, insulation boards (could not see anything, it went all the way to the front), wood etc. Pretty handy
Recommended for the 2.5T but not required. I don't think this one has the turbo. Modern electronic engine control on the turbo engines has gotten so good that it is hard to hurt them with lower octane gas. You lose some power and sometimes mpg.
Turbo one came with the bling rims..
This is a low end model GX and looks like it doesn’t have the convenience package either

I hate cvt transmission (with a passion!)...I had a Nissan sentra with one. Bought new from the dealer and about 3 or 4 years in, the belts were getting loose. Brought it to the dealer and even took video, they said they couldn't find any issues with it. And even during this time, there were lawsuits going on in the usa. I felt unsafe keeping the car long (and just this pass year, there's been a recall because of the cvt transmission.... lol).
Traded it in for a bronco sport badlands (ordered it and took about 4 months... and this was right before all the major supply chain issues... so we were lucky on timing). Really have been happy with it... had it just over an year now. Drove it all the way to the deserts in California and back too.

@Riceburner how small? Neighbours are selling their MIL's Kona. It is something like four years old with 4,000 km on it (not a typo). No idea on price. They are talking to a dealer that really wants it but it's hard for a dealer to beat private sale money.

@GreyGhost I test drove a Kona a couple of years ago...felt really nice...even the automatic which gives you the ability to shift (can't remember what it's called) wasn't bad and I HATE automatics...felt much nicer than the Crosstrek we also test drove...

I just had another offer of exactly what I paid for a Jeep wrangler a year and a half ago but chose to decline. Hard turning down a big chunk of change but couldn't think of another vehicle I would want at the moment. + wouldn't really want to pay inflated price of other used vehicles.
Ditto and finance rates went up
This situation isn't going away any time soon. If my dealership di not sell another car for the rest of the year we have everything sold for the next 12 months for the most part. Shortages are going to last another year at least.

The Encore is terrible.
Engine issues. Replaced engine… more issues…
Electrical problems.
The only good thing about it was that it didn’t have a spec of body rust on it.
