List Jobs you wish you had

I don't think you guys really understand what weapons system engineering would really be like.

No I want to help treat people with eating disorders and perhaps be a life coach....
Eating disorders have the highest death rate of all the mental issues combined and thats not including suicides that are ED related. And the hardest to treat is bulimics who often get told they dont have any issues because they are typically normal weight. And then the docs wonder why they died of a heart attack at 25...

my comment might have gone over your head...

Maybe because it was asinine. =P

On another note,

the serious posts on this thread are pretty interesting.

I wanna be Mike " The Situation "

You might still have time to come up with a name, there's a new guy now, The Unit!!! :lmao:

Motorcycle thief has some appeal too, i hear a person can make some pretty good bucks doing that if you are on a forum like GTAM or know alot of riders...

I wouldn't mind having Johnny P's job too, except for the part where another idiot runs into my skull. (hope you're feeling better Johnny boy! Here's a wicked 12 o'clock wheelie for ya!!! :D )

Pie-in-the-sky type stuff:

I'd love to be Larry Mullen from U2. I'd get to play drums, travel the world, make a ton of money, and in all likelihood be able to walk around the streets relatively inconspicuously.

I wouldn't mind be a world famous DJ either. Get to spin records, travel the world, be on the radio from time to time.

More realistic:
It's probably not too late, but I think I should have done law. In this world, the lawyers always win.

Go back soon! It's getting to the tail-end of the master's being the minimum. Ph.D's gonna be the only way to even have a shot soon.

How about if I want a job at the Mad House where I gotta use cattleprods and tranquilizers to subdue patients? Do I still need a master's??

I love to own a fly in fishing/hunting lodge. Be a bush pilot, guide, machinist, mechanic, redneck engineer, chief cook and bottle washer. Too many thing holding me south to just sell it all and do it though. Maybe a semi retirement job.

In the real world I'd love to work in an R&D lab that isn't necessarily driven by price points and ridiculous deadlines. I've been doing the "better, faster, cheaper" thing for too long, and would rather work in an environment that rewards and fosters innovation and creative thinking. I love what I do now, I just dislike the industry I do it for (automotive).

GE was somewhat like that, Bombardier Aerospace to a lesser degree but still good.

it would be asinine to study psychology and expect a gainful employment in most cases

I'd like to be a breast cancer doctor for the under 30 crowd.

I believe the technical term for this position is "Vicenarian non-radiation manual mammogram technician"

Fit that on a business card!

Pilot in the first World war, something like a Moth.

Gynaecologist, except I would probably get fired for taking my work home.

Tourist safari guide in Africa.

Genie in a bottle granting Bikers 3 wishes.
