List Jobs you wish you had

I'd like to test motorcycles for a magazine..... that'd be awesomes!

President and CEO of ORNGE.

Costume maker and fitter for Mariners Cheerleading Squad.....

An MP celebrating his 6th year in office and about to retire at the grand old age of 25.

Somebody famous. Not because I'd actually want to be famous...but because I'd want to see if I would crack under public scrutiny like a lot of celebrities. The type of job's less important, but I wouldn't mind being a singer or actor.

Another good one would be a job like the one Will Smith has in Hitch, where he helps people create opportunities in their lives to have a shots at things they otherwise wouldn't have a chance at (ie women, jobs, etc.) I think that there's a lot of truth in emphasis on the approach/first impression & it'd be awesome to get paid to help people like that.

I love to own a fly in fishing/hunting lodge. Be a bush pilot, guide, machinist, mechanic, redneck engineer, chief cook and bottle washer. Too many thing holding me south to just sell it all and do it though. Maybe a semi retirement job.

In the real world I'd love to work in an R&D lab that isn't necessarily driven by price points and ridiculous deadlines. I've been doing the "better, faster, cheaper" thing for too long, and would rather work in an environment that rewards and fosters innovation and creative thinking. I love what I do now, I just dislike the industry I do it for (automotive).

I set myself up on thebush pilot path as a teen (got my license and geared all my classes towards it in highschool) and then as I started to make connections in the industry I realized how much be was involved with the job considering the pay, and to make real coin meant flying for the air lines, and that wasn't appealing to me.

Well, maybe it's not DIRECTLY related but basically I worked for a company that did software testing for fighter jets. You'd think the military has all the latest hardware but the truth is that in the airspace industry there is such a HUGE emphasis on software testing/verification and the same with hardware that a lot of "proven" tech gets used that's been around for a while. In other words, the tech used on planes is generally several generations behind other industries where a hardware/software fault isn't as critical.

So basically, they use old *** tech, people mostly write software off templates and very little is changed from plane to plane cause of the amount of testing that it would take to write something from scratch, etc.

I guess maybe designing some much smaller tech, some sort of portable heart beat sensors, small arms, etc....stuff like that would be a bit more flexible and fun. OR actually testing them out near the finished stages where you're actually blowing stuff up.

My mom was practically all set to do that. Only thing she needed to do was take a guide test and get insurance... looked into the costs and then focused harder on her tutoring school. Looking at something like 5 grand for the insurance.

Military
Doctor
Psychologist

If I get a chance to go back to school its going to be for psychology.

I was just about to say you had a desk job where it might be pretty much boring. Did you work directly for the military or a Co. contracted by the military?

If I had to choose, I don't mind being their gun smith or somebody who "sources" their weapons. Getting different manufacturers to offer u free sample of their explosives or missiles would be awesome.

Who hasn't had dreams while they were a kid where they go around blowing things up? :D

so you want to work at Starbucks......

No I want to help treat people with eating disorders and perhaps be a life coach....
Eating disorders have the highest death rate of all the mental issues combined and thats not including suicides that are ED related. And the hardest to treat is bulimics who often get told they dont have any issues because they are typically normal weight. And then the docs wonder why they died of a heart attack at 25...
