Here is my '07 ZX6R. I was living in Ottawa the past few years so this was in the TFR series, but didnt see any use in the GTA. She had gobs of parts put on her from the previous owner so all i did was paint and powdercoating last winter. Hopefully lots of trackdays this year around the GTA..... and of course back to bogie for a few days.

that switch might be a bad idear. Too easy to hit. You can buy skinny little switches that mount on your clip on, or delete the kill switch and run ignition through that.

Only way I'm thinking I hit that switch is with my hands. there's no reason my hands will off the bars unless I'm falling off, and it's probably better if the bike is off then.

You forget when you are giving the finger to the bastard that just passed you... it's on the rule book somewhere.

But seriously. there are tons of flat switches you can buy

Or your helmet, or a bird, or whatever.... Or even your hands..... I betting your hands/hand comes off the grips more than once between starting the bike before a session/race and parking it after.

And I am honestly just point this out for your safety, not trying to be an ***.... If I was trying to be an *** I would make a comment about the short man in his tight leathers posting "bigger is better"........

Here's my new sweetie after a whack of work. The wet underneath is from 3 coolant flushes to get rid of any glycol.

Looks good. Is that real carbon fiber?

Also, I assume it's in a heated garage?? We're getting a few -8c nights over the next few days so I can't swap mine over to water just yet :(

Nah.. Cant' afford real CF. It's a vinyl wrap. Not all that difficult to do. And if I bin it, easy to peel, patch bodywork and reapply. No need for finicky paint.
In my garage in my townhouse. Garage is enclosed on all sides by heated house except floor and door. It has to get to about -12c for snow to stick around inside the garage. And the bike is nearest the back of the garage, away from the door, where it's 2c warmer than at the door on average.

Nice! Good stuff.

If it was real carbon I was going to make a comment about what it looks like after a crash ;)

I guess I'll have to drain my coolant at TMP just before I go out on the track, long term says -4 overnight april 6th :(

Might have to run engine ice instead I guess (I know they don't officially allow it).
