Leslie & Lakeshore - Property Manager will be on site tonight

I'm assuming that the Price Choppers spot was chosen in the first place because grocery stores don't have security guards/cars patrolling parking lots? If you all get the boot from there i can't think of too many other places these days that don't have security which are also attached or close to a Timmies or similar coffee shop. There are the big Cineplex Theatres and Costco on the Queensway in Etobicoke with huge sometimes half empty lots that are near several restaurants. But i'm pretty sure they would have parking lot security.
 
The location was "chosen" originally because most of the "meets" back then were in the west-end of the city and CagedCBR and I got tired of riding all the way out to find less than a 1/2 dozen peeps there.... We figured that this was close enough to a central location as We could get... + it was a Timmies, We we're never on the PriceChoppers side till We got too big for the Timmies lot.....When We started this, the 1st night there were just 2 bikes(Me and Him) and a few in cages (snow and rain will have that effect)... Every week after a few more would show up. I moved out west in 08 and it's been going on it's own since then....

I think the majority of folks on GTAM would comply with the reasonable request to stay on timmies side till 10pm, but it only takes a few bad apples like always. If **** hits the fan, well, there's always star bucks across the street.

I'm taking my M2 in a couple of weeks so here's hoping I can get a bike of my own.
 
Why the need to gather? Standing around talking smack, smoking...seems like a senseless act. Get on your bikes and ride safely!

Maybe a couple of posters with the above parking zone picture posted would do the trick. That way the information is on site and everyone can reference it. You could even add "Keep LnL alive" bla bla
 
I think the PC management is bending over backwards to keep things going on a friendly note. Realistically, we also have to police ourselves. See someone parking their bikes where they aren't supposed to? Talk to them, explain the situation. Someone should also talk to the police, explain the informal agreement and have them deal with it if people are rude enough to stick around even when asked to leave. While I dislike jerks who don't care about the effect the selfishness has on the community in general, having physical altercations between riders would bring even more bad rep on us. Posters are good too.

Hello Jamie i am getting the Fi red light on my bike, are you able to fix that in the parking lot? I'll get you a coffee and a loaf of bread to appease PC
 
El oh el - I'll bring my SpeedoDRD and you can install that while I dry-hump any MV Augustas I see.

someone bring a cage with a BBQ in the trunk, and buy a bunch of bbq food and bottled water from price choppers, hold onto that receipt! Rather than selling it, just take up donations from anyone that wants stuff, and put it back into the make nice with the grocery store/propane fund. Win/Win!

Seriously... why don't they get caplansky's or some food truck thing there on Thursday nights. The price chopper people could make their money if a VP were to be notified of the situation (because, nobody who works there probably has any say in the matter).

Not right now I can't, my equipment only works with Yamaha. In a week or two I should have the gixxer equipment ;)
