Halton popo was bragging they already have a tool the track peoples ip's that link to porn.
considering that someone can throw a rock in any direction and hit a thousand computers with porn in it... This doesn't seem like a lot of detective work...
Yeah, it's kind of like saying they have a way to detect which office buildings have cigarette butts on the sidewalk, in front of them.
There are ways to track EVERYTHING that you do, online, not just the porn surfing. Google "Carnivore." That doesn't make it legal.
If ever anyone deserved agonising torturous death...

Just a random question...
Can police do radar from someones driveway? And I'm not talking about the part below the side walk which the city owns(and i know the city most often owns a foot or two on the other side of the sidewalk). In my subdivision there is always a cop doing radar at a church. Now they moved across the street into someones drive way. Would the owner have to give them permission to use the driveway? He has been catching a lot of people as it looks like a normal parked car.

Yes, they can do radar from private property while looking out on the street. No, they do not need permission from the land-owner to do so ... but if they are on private property, the owner of that property is entirely within their rights to ask them to leave. But this is of no help to anyone who has a ticket that was written from such circumstances.
Thats what i was looking for, if you could tell them to leave. Just thought of it today as i passed by the officer doing the radar. The owner must be alright with it or isn't home, as they have been using the same drive way for the past couple of days.
People usually LOVE speed traps in heir neighbourhoods, and LOATHE it everywhere else. We're generally all hypocrits that way.
