LAPD Rampage Shooting...

One of the officers was killed in the shoot out, must be a pretty good shot. However there is no way out of this one, just a matter of time before he is gunned down. Man, scary situation, wonder what the guy is thinking this very second.

Right now, there is likely not much thinking going on with grey matter all over the floor...

Its been over for a while folks, local TV was asked to stay away and reporters were kept at a distance.
They cornered him in a cabin and tear gassed the heck out of the place. When it burst into flames there was no call for fire/rescue (they learned something from the Waco incident). Just stood well back to insure no body scampered out.

Not according to what I heard an hr ago, report was he shot 2 more cops and got away.

The story has slightly changed. He encountered a road block, shot 2 cops, one dead and retreated in to a cabin. He had been held up there, and attempted running out the back but there was another cop out back so he shot at that one.

They say he threw smoke grenades out front as a diversion, but I saw a clip with a light coloured SUV with tac team members behind it about 20' from the edge of the driveway, and saw one of them throw what to me looked like a smoke grenade towards the front of the driveway, and it looked like the smoke was coming from the side of the snow bank in the driveway on the road side (ie, it wouldn't be that possible to throw the grenade 50' from the house to the end of the driveway and have the smoke grenade bounce backwards in to the bank, it's more likely it was thrown 20 or 30' from the road side and stopped in the bank there). Besides, for him to throw that grenade that far, he would have been seen in the act, but at this time I still haven't heard 100% confirmation that he is in there. When info is coming from so many angles, it's hard to get the actual facts straight on the fly.

At 7:20ish CNN reported that they were in an active maneuver on the Cabin and maybe a minute after that the black smoke from the fire was seen.

I've been speaking with Californians today, cabin is on fire and he's in it. Unless he's a ghost or has a tunnel its over.

BIG BEAR, Calif. — The man believed to be fugitive ex-cop Christopher Dorner never came out of a California mountain cabin, and a single shot was heard inside before the cabin was engulfed in flames, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press.

If the man inside the cabin does prove to be Dorner, it will lower tensions among the more than 40 targets police say he listed in an online rant.

He would be an evil genius if he made them believe it was him and he's still on the loose hunting down corrupt cops.

I was talking to the gf about that exact scenario just before he tried escaping out the back... I'm pretty sure the only way they will be identifying him though is dental records from his charred corpse.

He needs a gopro on his while he's been on his venture.

No, I'm hoping for the same. I wish he would've recorded what he's been doing on a camera and then before he gets caught he uploads it to the interwebz on the most epic reality show ever.
Without collecting royalties?? No way José

-Record everything, sell it to the media for the highest bidder.
-Deposit money in Swiss account.
-Call the media & tell them the whereabouts of your surrender
-Lie naked on a soccer field with your hands clearly visible so they wouldn't shoot you
-Hired this hotshot

-Claim emotional trauma/insanity... Opps glove don't fit...
-Get sentence reduced. Do some community service & start a campaign against guns & say they are the root of all evil; condemn all the actions you've done
-End of 20yrs or so, collect money
-Write a book or a movie entitled "What would of happened if I had totally lost my mind"
-Quietly collect royalties and sip margaritas on a beach watching some brazilian hotties play volleyball

I hope the reporter from the Onion calls his location in, the $1M reward sure would be sweet.

Apparently they already made a movie about him :lmao:

Pretty sure they needed him to go away, and couldn't afford him ever getting to trial where he would have a voice.
