LAPD Rampage Shooting...

LAPD have shot 3 innocent civilians today thinking they may have been the cop they are looking for. 2 were newspaper delivery people who drove up to the house of a high ranking officer this guy said he was going to kill. The house was being protected by LAPD. Not much else being released right now. It would seem they are trigger happy. Maybe trying to ensure this guy does not ever speak again.

Well Rambo did it and survived, so here's hoping.
In all honesty, I bet the LAPD did **** him over. I don't condone doing what he did, but reading into the story, this guy has gone down every avenue he could within the court system, but kept getting screwed over. Since he was discharged from the LAPD, that also goes on his Naval record, so he just lost both of his careers he has been building his life around over some LAPD cover ups. I guess people are suppose to just suck it up, move on, or commit suicide. How else do you get the attention of the media these days in the States ?, you start shooting people.
He is obviously not going to see the inside of a court room. You kill a cop, you are going to be shot on site. Pretty tragic though, cause I could of seen this get blown up into another OJ trial, and see what really happened with the LAPD.
EDIT - And as for the civilians that got shot, I dunno, might be a blessing in disguise. I don't know how bad the injuries are, but they are going to sue, and receive millions. Would I take a bullet for a winning lottery ticket ?, hard to say lol.

The LA police are scared to death of this guy, he's well armed and marine trained. He's had 4 yrs to plan this thing so he could have weapons and cars stashed all over.
Even if his missile launcher is crap, would you want to be the helo pilot flying low in the mountains looking and waiting.
His burnt truck was found in BigBear and he may have crossed into Arizona, FBI has taken the lead and LA police wont have much to do with this going forward unless he heads back into town. Military is getting the go ahead to assist since they have the equipment to deal with the enormous desert areas east of Big Bear.

Perhaps in that trial they will open the can of worms that resulted in them getting shot unless they quietly settle out of court.

I don't doubt for a second that the LAPD screwed this guy over because he voiced concern over his training officer kicking a suspect, and then lied about it to cover it up. So in light of the system failing him completely, its hard to feel sorry for the cops.

Those pictures are sobering - those women came within a hair's breadth of being dead.

Another grim thought: if the police spend that much ammo shooting at two unarmed women, and they still live, the actual confrontation with Donner is not going to go well for them.
