I don't know if anyone is 100% exempt from the occasional hate thought but there is something wrong in the brain if you act this type of thing out.

He is killing indescriminately, not going after the specific individuals that MIGHT have wronged him. Even that is not justified.

Makes me wonder about the screening process.

Jeebus! That reads like an action screenplay. Maybe I've just watched too many movies but I get really skeptical when I read an article like that. And WTF, 2 women shot and one driver luckily surviving a barrage of bullets from the police! I know they're taking the cop-killing personally but identify your target at least! It seems their policy is to shoot first and sort things out later.
 
I have friends in the Torrence Cali area near the shootings . They are all scared crapless with the LAPD shooting up trucks that are the same color as the one they are looking for.
Its not indescriminate shootings , he published a manifesto and listed those that he wants, police bosses, kids , former school mates. He's right off the planet.
They found his pickup burnt out in the mountains so now its a foot chase around the sierras and he's running around with a 50 cal sniper gun, and he's been military trained in how to use it.

This is going to end very badly.

High capacity how? Chances are it has a 5 round magazine... Which makes that gun 100% legal with our standards.
 
M-107 = 10 rnds.


Apparently he has an SA-7 as well.

he's alledged to have surface to air shoulder launch missiles?, and he just bought a suppressor for two hand guns in Nevada last month. He's a bit better equipped than our current laws would allow.

He spent the night two days ago at the San Diego Naval Base, entering the base with his weapons cache and exiting the same. Going to be some security detail folks being asked some hard questions.

very effective long range rifle used by police and military, 10 shot capacity unless modified. Shoots a .50 cal rnd that could punch a hole in an engine block.

I guess his goal is to lead them, hit them with the anti material weapons in an ambush or two and then die....... so that people will see the LAPD are corrupt. Um, yea.

It's a suicide mission but he's hoping to get whoever comes after him. Probably will go in and go high, set up his last stand then double back to the most likely points of ambush with a high overview. His 107 is good to a mile all day long but that sprint missile is garbage and might dud or blow up in his face.

Rangers could pull him in a day but LAPD probably won't ask for help because of..

1. Pride.

2. They want to kill him.
 
My guess is he is gone. He is hiding out or laying low in some bunker or tent in the desert or mountains.
California is a big state. He can easily just drive over to another state. Him burning his truck is a rouse.

His physique does make him stand out. Maybe he will drop 50 lbs. It took them a very long time to catch the Uni-bomber due in part to luck.
 
Not a tactical expert by any means here but I agree. If he's gonna wage "asymmetrical warfare" then one of his tools will be patience, and striking on his own schedule. This thing could go on for a while. The big problem IMO with that strategy is that it doen't work so well in the US where telecommunications and law enforcement are everywhere.

But I dunno.
