Kitchener/Waterloo area, c u next trackday riders thread!

Ding ding ding ... It all makes sense now. Wow it took a while to wrap my head around that. And it was made so easy by looking at my streetbike tire. On the sv the trailing edges are rolling because it's softer for street riding. On the zx6 the leading edge is rolling cause it's harder and not on the street. I'm gonna go buy myself a present. :)

If you're not happy with her I'll offer you a straight trade, loaded SV650 for rashed up Gixxy750. LOL
I'll even throw in a wash and wax (of the bike) :D

Hehe... still no... Nice try !!

Another really good day. Awesome weather at TMP, not a cloud in the sky, track was good. Everyone stayed up right, Dan had a good pace in red getting off the bike better now, working on getting his head lower. Michelle had some pretty good competition in green, some of the yellows went down to green after yellow was full. Steve stayed hard on the gas in red, I took a 675 for a spin, the lunatic in John came out when he gave a go on the CBR. John's electrical system on the 675 had a sudden and complete failure in the last session at the end of the front straight (no crash). On the last session missed the braking point into 1 going by dan and went off-roading. Got back on the track, 2 laps later and I got a little carried away on a power wheelie after the chicane and took an 2nd road adventure. Time to quit while your ahead. Tim got some great shots and was a great hand to have in the pits.

Great day!

Pics are processing now for a quicker upload to Photobucket.
Will post up a link here for everyone later.

And Randy forgot to mention how snarly his new exhaust is... giving Babs some competition!!!

we still know know babs is on top, except maybe for the 1098's termi...

Did you guys know the guy riding that blue and white CBR? That's Jawad's old bike!

Front springs are .090 kg racetech I believe. On the track bike. Just found the packaging for them.

I imagine you weight about the same as I do, the CBR has 1.05 progressives stock, personally I'd opt for the 1.10's on the CBR (little heavier than your ride), check racetech's website, I imagine 1.05's would be your best bet, possibly even 1.10's

Anyone happen to have an extra d-zus connector? Specifically, the male side with the D ring. Somehow lost one of mine in the latest round of removals/upgrades etc.

Noticed the front of my exhaust was discolouring a bit too, so I took it off and had a look. Sure enough, the front end of the center pipe wasn't in place correctly and had somehow shifted almost 0.5 inches. Popped the rivets, realigned and tapped it place with a mallet to make sure it won't shift out again. Pain in the butt...

Jones'ing to get out there and try the shock though!!!

If you still need the fastener I have some kicking around but you would have to trek to Wellesley for it.
