Kitchener/Waterloo area, c u next trackday riders thread!

Ok - so here are the options...

July 12 (Thurs.) Shannonville Long Track - Riders Choice
July 16, Monday - Calabogie - Pro6

July 19, Thursday - TMP - Racer5

July 26, Thursday - GB

There is also 14th/15th at TMP next weekend. I could go for the 14th at TMP. I know Dan can't get Thursdays off so easily. 14th and 26th?

Thanks for thinking of me Dave :) ya I'm in for 14 and 26 at tmp. Can't get weekdays off.

Should be good for the 26th at GB. In the second week of my vacation! YAY!!!

LOL...

Have fun tomorrow, folks. Make sure you drink too much. If you don't have to pee at least every other session then you're not drinking enough, trust me, I've bonked at the track, not good.

Me too ... Barf ... Lol that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Back from TMP.
Quick run down:
1) Stupid hot.
2) Only 1 crash where the guy broke his collar bone and messed up his thumb pretty badly - leather must have been paper thin.
3) Hotter than Hades
4) Great time had by all of us KW'rs.

Whew...

Agreed ... Totally awesome track ... I'm torn between gb and tmp. I love turn one ... Straight to straight. Can get some wicked speeds there. Thank god for toe sliders or I would have no toes left. Gotta stop moving my feet to the outside of the pegs. But good time for sure. officially out of green for gb and tmp ... Too many times grabbing front brake around the apex... I think I'll take the chance in yellow vs very unpredictable riders in green. Not to say I'm great or anything lol. Only cut the grass once but I kept the bike up so no harm done. And thanks randy for all the help with suspension and taking me out that last session. Was reassuring to hear positive comments from you and watch the lines u take... I must admit a hell of a lot better than mine but I'm new lol.

By the end of the day our gear was disgusting.
Putting my helmet on for our last session couldn't help think "So, this is what it's like to be born... only in reverse." Totally drenched helmet being pulled back over the old bucket. Ewww.

No battle scars like Dan's to report. Just scraped the right slider a few times, but that's it. And zero chicken strip left on the right side.

Front tire needs a flipping now too. Rain sipes are down to the base layer of the tire on the outside edge.

So it looks like Jin and I are the resident KW SlowPokes now. ;-)
We ride a very similar pace over all.
