Kitchener/Waterloo area, c u next trackday riders thread!

depends if GB is a go or not, right now the weather forcast isn't looking good, if I do go, I'll be back saturday afternoon (not sure exactly what time yet, but I'll try to get there sooner than later)

In that case, I won't tag along on Thursday evening with you... thought you were going to return on Friday evening.
No biggie.
Anyone else going to GB Friday? I may decide to catch a lift with you if the weather's good... no, not riding, just doing the photography thing.

could do either, we'll play it by ear and see what the weather does, not really set on one way or another, going thursday night, but could come home friday night too

Hey Tim, the way Jawad and I usually pack the trailer and Jeep we don't have room for an extra body. If we do go on Friday we'll definitely be bringing two extra sets of wheels which take up a lot of room in the Jeep.

I'll wait until tomorrow to make a call, but not with the weather forecast saying 10+ mm of rain

Dean I hope u have room for my rain tires :) or r u bailing cause of the rain ??

Dude, you got rain tires with the bike.... sweet. Yea - I think I should have room - we could just strap them to the trailer.
I'll be going regardless of the weather.
Friday is going to be awesome.

Just talked with Jawad, we'll also be going Friday regardless of weather and make the call at the track. If it's crazy bad (like the rain that just hit Waterloo) then forget it, but if it's wet and looks like it will clear I'll go out on rains and wait for it to dry up enough for slicks.

Glad ur coming Dave , I may need some help switching tires if u don't mind. Just incase I forget a tool or two lol

Sure, no prob. If you can find (or already have) torque specs for things like calipers bolts, pinch bolts and axles be sure to bring a printout.

I prefer the "it should be about... that tight" method, but thats what happens when you take things apart non-stop

I'm thinking maybe mount the rain tires tomorrow ?? Then if it's clear switch over to the dry tires ? Sound like a good idea?

I'm on the fence about that one too. Trying to decide how Murphy will react. LOL
