The plot thickens...
I've seen a 2009 shop manual online if you need it urgently.Okay .... So there was a misunderstanding and what I thought was a shop manual for my just-purchased 2012 Thunderbird was nothing more than a service records booklet. I guess that explains why it was being given away for free.
Many thanks to the 3 members who offered and if I ever see any of you, a drink is on me .
To pay it forward, if anyone needs something picked up in the GTA, just ask.
Thanks all!
Ya but you sir are a lunaticI vote go for the ride. 10hrs is the perfect length for a day ride.
A few years ago I rode down to Asheville to pick up some discontinued Givi cases and took the direct way there in 1 day and the scenic route home over 3 days.
Just when this thread was getting really interesting, the suspense and all, and it was over a free record book...I'll PM you Baggsy and thanks ifiddles but I've already downloaded it for free from the Facebook group ... this Ottawa paper manual was free and I always prefer a book in front of me instead of a laptop or having to print pages off so I jumped at the opportunity.
I won't pay a crazy amount for it but I'll see what Baggsy has found ...
I ordered one from Envy Rides when I got my bike. When I went to pick it up, they couldn't find it.Just when this thread was getting really interesting, the suspense and all, and it was over a free record book...
I only have a PDF of the service manual for my bike. I repurposed a old laptop to the garage, which I can view it on, and stream some music to if needed.
It isn't about the seller doesnt want to put in extra effort. As a seller on kijiji you should NEVER ship anything. There is no seller protection at all unlike other paid service (ebay, etc). So whatever payment you received (cheque/cc/paypal/etransfer) can get cancelled long after you shipped the item and kijiji will not offer any compensation (rightly so). The bank doesn't have to explain to you or even notify you about it.Sorry to sound harsh, but you either REALLY want it or you don't.
The seller doesn't want to put in any extra effort and that's his choice. I've driven all over hell's half-acre to pick stuff up that I just couldn't live without.
Wouldn’t have it any other wayYa but you sir are a lunatic
Funnily enough, I recently found a complete aftermarket exhaust system for my new Tracer for free on Kijiji. It was in Kelowna but I etransfered him the shipping costs last Tuesday and I received it today.
Putting it on tomorrow.

I didn't bother asking lol...Why would someone giveaway a free aftermarket exhaust???
I thought about it for the seat I picked up, but 10 hours with off and on rain, on a straight highway didn't sound like fun.Wouldn’t have it any other way
If only you knew how much I've already spent on pipes, a sissy bar, a Gearingo gear indicator, wiring to charge the phone, etc ... then again, the HD would've gotten a set of pipes and likely a stage 2 kit anyways but isn't that how it always goes with a new toy.So that better value than a HD is now starting to cost you more... muhahahahaha!
Just kidding & bustin' your chops!

It doesn’t get cancelled but it can be a ‘fake deposit’. The bank will catch it a few days later and reverse the deposit. Another popular scam.I'm curious about this. When you say email do you mean Interac? How can an Interac transfer be cancelled by a bank?
