There's good and bad.
My 8 year old niece cut off her drop dead beautiful long hair to donate it to an outfit that makes wigs for kids with cancer.
OTOH we stopped inviting friends who had a kid that got attention by seeing how far she could throw the TV remote. No smack, just "Be nice Suzy".
If we spent as much time rewarding the good as we do pointing out the bad...................
