Sorry to hear about this. Have you had some specialist advice? Neurologist/dementia experts? Does VON do anything related to this kind of help?

We are using every available assistance we can.Doug Fords cutbacks have had a very deep impact on mental health care.

Things are basically **** right now. How about telehealth and there are some charities that seem to be running mental health support online too. Not ideal as it’s always good to have a face to face but it’s something.

We have a "virtual" meeting tomorrow with a shrink. We have done these twice before without any real success.Gotta keep trying tho.

I vary cherries, blueberries (bumberries) and prunes to keep things going.

We have a bidet now, which supposedly can help.

IMO cut backs and increases in demand have overloaded so many of these "Help" organizations that they needed to re-organize. To do so on a reduced budget they let go workers to be able to hire more organizers.

Paper shuffling, studies and meetings have replaced feet on the ground.

With issues that have a mental component face-to-face doesn't work well. Typing doesn't express subtle meanings and unless the person typing is a playwright, hidden directions like "Martha (Sobbing ) said...." don't enter the communications.

All time low right now. They are trying to find a place for her in a Hospice. She has 1 to 6 months.
Tragic.
