Kawi Wednesdays!!!

Me? I quite enjoy following you guys.

seabreze you had a great idea where to ride to last week! lol my ideas would be airport area, or woodbine raceway or downtown to see whats happing at L n L

I was thinking; heading south... Like to Florida or Arizona. But seriously, it depends how much traffic you want to dodge. I prefer to get out of town on the open road with no traffic.

Ya south is sounding good! Gonna be dam cold tonight!

Not only does it look like it'll be colder by the time tomorrow night rolls around, but calling for "a few showers ending near midnight then clearing" with a low of plus 1. The high during the day is only 13, and we all know that by 8pm, it's not going to be anywhere near the daytime high anymore... I think I'm going to be calling it a season and putting her away guys. :(

For anyone else who toughs it out should the conditions not be wet, be careful. Your tires don't like cold temps - same as summer tires on cars. Below 15 or so degrees, it's like driving on hockey pucks. Keep in mind also that even though you can warm the tires up more by running a little lower pressure, you can't do anything about how cold the road surface is. You won't be able to get as much brake pressure before breaking traction, thus braking distances need to be adjusted accordingly. Just a heads up. Stay safe.

Ok so it was a little wet and cold last night but after putting on all my layers I said whatever and showed up. The roads were completely dry south of York Mills. I'm not putting my beast away yet. There will be lots of great riding days left, maybe not in the morning or night but 15 degrees in the day is more than acceptable.

SEABREEZ!!!!! YOU DA MAN!!!!

XYPHUR, you have a very good point, if temp if low so is the sticky, and if I can't take a corner leaning over than the thrill is gone!

Fresh, let's play it by weather for tonight, if it is wicked cold I'll stay in and do a little work on the bike.

Well, I hope The Weather Network is right, because Environment Canada's site is telling me Wed is going to be cloudy w/ 60% chance of showers... :(

They're also claiming tomorrow (Tuesday) is going to be sunny, a steady 14 degrees, 0% chance of precip... If EnvCan ends up being correct instead of TWN, I'll atleast get a ride in tomorrow, but perhaps we'll get SUPER-lucky and it won't bloody rain either day... for a change!

Fingers are crossed... If we get lucky, count on me being there this week!

Yup I hear you on that!!! I always pick the weather forecast provider that tells me what i want to hear! lol I'll be out riding tomarrow night if the weather is nice.

Wednesday EveningTemperature: 14°C
Clear with cloudy periods. Windy at times.

Looks like we're getting a break in weather after all... unfortunately I'm probably -1 tonite. Other things to deal with. If I'm done earlier than expected, I'll take a blast out that way and see if there's still people around. How late do you guys stick around?

At any rate, if I don't make it, maybe I'll see y'all next week... weather permitting.

Can't make it tonight, sprained my ankle yesterday.
