No problems with them on my 2009.

Looks good. Yours is a '09? I see you took care of the windshield 'issue' lol.

It's an ER6N... they don't have a windshield. Flipping the banjo bolt and bleeding the brakes took less than 10 minutes and I had never done it before.

Looks good !! Can't wait for mine to arrive .. Can anyone drop some advice on grip removal/replacement ? I'd like to keep my original ones in working condition but still planning to replace them

I didn't order grips from ninja shop 650.. Would any grips that fit 7/8 work ?

I'd like to see how those bars look and feel too. ;) Someone should donate their ride for people to check out.

If you guys have ridden a Ninja 250r. The seating position is about the same when using the Sport Bars on the 650r.

I've seen the video .. He just never explained how he got his grips off .. It also looked like he already had after market grips on his original bars and moved them to his sport bars

dont know if this will help but i bought my 2010 650r with sport bars already installed. this is my first bike so dont really know how stock would feel but can say i really like the position on these, not to sporty like a ss but not straight up either.

Blast of compressed air is the fastest. Hit with air, grip will inflate, slide it off.

you dont even need to flip the banjo, just follow the brake line from the master cylinder about 8 inches down you will see a thin metal bracket the brake line tucks under, that bracket restricts the natural movement if the brake line.. just snip that metal and you brakeline mives gree and no need to flip banjo.

worked for me atleast

taking off grips, i have taken so msny off by inserting a small flat head screw driver between grip and bar and squirtin a little wd40 around.. works like charm
