Kahuna's add 7-11-2013

I didnt realize how many people on here had such fragile egos

It has nothing to do with ego. It's how the dealer is representing a global brand. Little beyond your ego or any of ours.

Nice try on being cool. Just shows you don't have much of a valid opinion on the topic.

So im attempting to be cool cause i found something funny? And this somehow makes my opinion invalid on the topic?

Sounds legit...

Here comes the analytical defense bc someone's defending their ego.

Funny how that worked.

My point was just made. Thank you back to the topic on hand :)

I think I would be quite amusing if the ladies riding 250's trade it for a bigger bike so they are not associated with the stigma this add created.

Then the next ad will just be "Trade in your 636 for a busa so those ladies riding litrebikes won't out do you!"

I've heard Kawi Canada is involved and taking action. As a lot of us mentioned no corporation wants to be represented as poorly as they have been.

Good on them for this.

I know nothing of whether Kawasaki is taking action or not. But the 250 Ninja has typically been one of their top sellers. Alienating a significant portion of your customer base is generally not a good plan. I doubt if this will go to legal action, it is probably more like a nasty email saying not to continue with this and don't do it again.

I take their ad to show that as a female rider/racer, I am not taken seriously. After seeing that ad, I'll take my money elsewhere, and advise others to do the same.
It's sad that their peer pressure tactics probably worked on someone who will get on a bike that they can't handle, and either hurt or kill themselves, or other people.
But some say it's just a "funny" ad right? The possible ramifications though, not so funny. The disrespect for female riders, not so funny.

And ffs on top of all that, that whole " priceless" Mastercard rip off ad format is SO ridiculously lame and overdone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw the ad and the main message I got was disrespect - maybe lame humour. But also mean-spirited and a bit cruel. Completely unnecessary. IMHO it was a total turn-off and a stupid business move. However quite consistent with the attitude I have enountered with said dealership.

I have neither ovaries or a vagina. And trust me, I am not particularly sensitive or easily offended.
