Sadly the three parties who don't care about fiscal responsibility have circled around the country's public purse. Nobody stands to gain from an election, the Liberals do stand to gain if they can crush a corruption or ethics probe.

I hope the PCs don't let this one go. Never in Canadian history has a PM prorogued parliament to stop an investigation, never has the forming of a committee been forced into a confidence vote -- both JT firsts.
 
I can't help but shake my head at people who are so focused on the nonsense south of the border. But just shrug at the mess in their own back yard.
 
With today's antics, JT has officially moved onto my list of despicable people that I will not be in a room with because they have proven to put their interests above all else while pretending to care for others. It is a short list. Fantino, Bill Blair, Bryant and JT. All people that the world would be better without. F^%$# em.

Because that's all you see on the Canadian networks. It's cheaper to buy from American networks than hire reporters to cover Canada. Plus they're all afraid of the vindictive Liberal government.

Want to add a pic of a ********* Ontario PC MPP as well? Taken this weekend. Sorry for the small size. Large group in direct contact, no masks in sight. Same story as every other picture "We were social distancing all night, that picture does not represent what happened".

It seems almost every person in the world is using the five minute rule for covid. They believe that you can ignore any guidance as long as you are only ignoring it for a short while.

The whole, do as we say not as we do, thing is in my opinion hurting the pandemic response. Not just here but in the states too. Why is the leading class always getting caught not following their own rules when it comes to this pandemic? Why cant they just practice what they preach and be a good role model? How can you expect the normal population to take your warnings and dire prediction seriously when you are breaking your own rules that you tell them will save them.

How is it any different from what they would do otherwise. There has always been and will be a double standard for those of influence and the rest of us smohes... Just look at JT is a shining example of that contempt.

I guess that's the point. If I want a test, I have to crowd in with other suspected super-spreaders for 4+ hours.

How do they go through the process? Make a quick phone call and someone rushes over, or do they need to queue up with the rest of us?
 
The sniveling liberals are continuing their wanker tactics to waste the countries time and money to avoid any light being shone on their past corruption. Can the next ballot have a referendum where wasting parliaments time is grounds for immediate dismissal and the second place candidate in the last election assumes their spot? That ensures both that the idiot is removed and the party is punished for their tactics.

I hate to have to admit it, but we're on our way to another Liberal majority government. The media is solely in Trudeau's pocket. The handouts keep coming. Standard economics no longer apply. We're a country acting like a heroin addict, someday hoping to recover but forever relapsing onto the drug.

I think PP would have crushed Trudeau in an election -- I hope all this is his setup for a run as the next PC leader. He's young, charismatic, witty, and smart. He also has a salad that competes with Trudeau (so maybe a few lady votes will come his way).

While I like O'toole, he looks and comes off a bit like a character from Corner Gas -- he hasn't jumped into the spotlight the way a leader should.
