Its was nice meeting you guys, got to put some faces to names. When did the FZR250 crash?
Last session, on the first lap. I was just anxious to get going and didn't let the tires get properly warmed up. So when I got to the hairpin 8 with a clear track ahead of me, I just pulled too much throttle with the bike still leaning on the corner exit (didn't think the small bike could do that ... LOL).
If the bike didn't have the soft OEM clip-ons perhaps the front cage wouldn't have twisted and right fairing wouldn't crack as much. Anyways, it's all cosmetic I'd say and will be repaired and upgraded in due time. The only think I was really upset about was not being able to finish the session or ride the bike the next session, which I think was the last of the day.
Thanks to Paul, Donna and other people who made sure we had tons of fun. It was truly an amazing day over all.
