Ran into a small issue with the Woodcraft clip ons I ordered, without the 1" rise, the bars don't clear the ram air intake...
So I'm exchanging those for the 1" bars and in the mean time Johnny made the Brembo RCS adjuster clear the gauge by making some spacers.

Nice track bike. Are the fairings and tank powdered coated or is it just regular paint. Looks like a great paint job

lol... No, you cannot powder coat bodywork.
I had them painted, they're not perfect but they turned out better than I thought!

For anyone looking to get any powder coating / anodizing done... PM JohnnyP636

I was at Johnny's over the weekend, sold me a set of Bridgestone S20's for dirt cheap and installed them for next to nothing.
No scratches on the rims, properly balanced and all done while you watch.
Give him a shout if you need any work done or PM me if you want his contact.

It almost makes me want a red bike just so I can get those the rims done in white, that looks great.

trying to picture my bike with white rims, doesn't seem to have the same effect.

Thanks man, I've been contemplating white wheels on the GSX-R as well.
Most people are against the idea, they just can't see it like I do. lol

What kind of bike do you have and what colour is it?

Great pictures Mina and great work by JohnnyP. I'll have some parts this fall for powder coating on my "Operation Blackout" for my Honda CB1000R. I now know where to go with no worries.

Awesome !!

Hey I just waned to give this guy a good review. Sold me some parts for my zx6r at a good price. Thanks again.

aren't the white rims a pain in the *** to clean?!
Haven't had the pleasure to clean them yet, but I will let you know.

For sure man, he's opening up his own powder coating shop, so he will be able to help you with pricing even more.

Much better! Very nice work done indeed.
Thanks bud! Looked a little too plain without any decals, so I added the basics.
The wings on the tank are crooked so they're coming off. lol

why's that?

His comment is half truth, but it depends on the color...flat colors tend to hold dirt more then glossy colors...However he is right when it comes to high gloss colors or colors with a very smooth finish...The dirt does not stick onto them as hard as it does to the plain black or other finishes that come on OEM motorcycle rims...Also the powder likes to fill little crevices more then the OEM paint did, which again prevents dirt from sticking to areas they would before coating...

The red bike looks great. Nice one
