No GP Bikes. Riders Choice and Royal Distributing. 613 Motorsports was also there but very limited selection.

Royal is taking an interesting approach to the show:
Only brought one size of each helmet and you order and pay there and they ship to you for free. Saves them bringing all their inventory. Was chatting with John McBride and he thought people want to leave with something in their hands. My buddy bought a helmet there and was glad he didn’t have to carry it around.

I bought a little bit of everything.
-chain lube
-beard oil
-butter tarts

LOL

Decent sized crowd. Very pleasant to walk around.
Fewest cars in parking lot as we were leaving around 4:30 that I have ever seen at the show.
 
Noobie question - I'm looking to do my first oil change on the 'ol DR650.
Any recommendations on who to buy the discounted oil from - or do all vendors price match with each other?
 
I saw Liquid Molly 10w40 synthetic for $55 taxes in. I think it was at Rider’s Choice. Not sure if that is what you are looking for.
 
It's been a few years since I've made it out to the show... for those that went today, are there any dealers selling bikes (new/used)?.

I am in the market for a dual sport and was looking to sit on a few models and am open to buying if a deal can be had.

There were some used bikes but o didn’t see any dual sports. There was a guy selling used Royal Enfields for $7-11k there must have been a dozen of them.
 
Maybe I was more miserable/blah than I thought because I really enjoyed the show. Coming in through the front entrance you're right into the vintage bikes and there was a good bunch of them.

It was decently busy but not crowded really. It seemed more Harley focused than other years with several large displays of (I think) used HD's and a few new ones.

I was able to get a good look at the Aprillia Toureg, Moto Guzzi V85TT and the V100 Mandello in the VOS motors display and I was able to get a battery tender for my Husqvarna and it's Lithium battery for $60 from Riders Choice tax included.

There's not many non HD bikes to look at really, no dealers with bike inventory as at previous years.

I also thought the custom hall was a bit sparse, compared with other years. Maybe the chopper, big-wheel bagger poser-bikes fad is passing.

Only saw one meat vendor and 2 beer nut booths.

The odd financial planner was there again, standing on chairs at the corner of his booth wearing a fedora and dramatically showing people golf balls. I caught his eye momentarily and felt the need for a hasty directional change. I don't know what's on the golf balls because I really didn't want to get close enough to be talked at.

The show magazine is back and there looks to be a couple possibly interesting articles in it.

It was bigger and better than last year, but still not as big/good as before covid. However, I did enjoy it and felt I got my money's worth. YMMV.

Canadian Tire. Rotella t4 diesel oil. Meets the same standards as bike oil. No friction modifiers or detergents. Lots of zinc.

Dr650 will run forever on that with no issues. I run it in all the bikes.

Mystery 420 bags, Porn Hub hoodies and toques, pots & pans, etc...

And I saw some truly shocking knock off helmets. Shoei X14, the same style logo but called Stealth, $120. AGV knock offs, too; identical logo, sans the "AGV" letters. Also $120. Just say no, people.

One would think a large motorcycle industry event would ensure this sort of thing doesnt happen
 
Fudged my age and got in for 20$
Met @cutekill.
Took the advice of @Wingboy and @shanekingsley and bought the Klim Latitude jacket and pants from Royal while saving the taxes.
Spent the day looking at bikes and then went for beers and wings to discuss a possible summer trip to Colorado.
Overall a very good day.

If you buy the jacket/ pants combo do they give you a better deal?
