Is There a Decent Mesh Jacket For Hot Weather?

I use one of these. Just need to makes sure it fits underneath your top jacket and the top jackets fits.

i have the revit mesh jacket but am still concerned with the way i look so i bought the black one, which is obviously the complete opposite of what you want it to do. ahh well! as long as you're constantly moving it works great though.

Somebody's stalking me!
Fort Nine just emailed me about their "Stay Cool With Ventilated Motorcycle Gear" sale.

I got that same email, was gonna post it here.

I've got a Revit Eclipse, and it's outstanding for airflow. For me it's good until the absolute hottest summer days.

I have one of these. Revit Offtrack.

Great airflow in hot days.
The neon zipper on the forearms open for more airflow. As well as the black zipper on the chest.

You are welcome to try it out if you want. I'm in Milton. It's my back up jacket as I use a different one as my main jacket.

Thanks for the offer. Rev’it was my second choice but I didn’t like the collar snap. The Scorpion arrived today, fits great and should do what I need it to. Anything under 25c I’ll just wear my good jacket that has all level 3 armour.

I have a nice mesh jacket for sale. I just posted it in the classifieds here.

Just back from a 10 day ride down south with my new Klim Induction is really great and provides class leading protection in the ventilated jackets segment with their “Karbonite’ mesh.

Great, but why do you think it’s class leading? It has lowly 500D on abrasion areas (lowest I’ve seen actually) and armour is still just level 1. There’s plenty of cheaper mesh options with much better armour and better material used in the abrasion areas. I’m not buying into the “our Karbonite 500D is better than others 750D materials etc” marketing if that’s what they claim.

Certainly some marketing hype, but it really feels like a real motorcycle jacket and not like a mosquito net like many of the lower priced jackets.

Good quality zippers and excellent build quality and that mesh is certainly more substantial than most other mesh jackets.

I have a Scorpion Vortex Air in all black like the above picture in size XL for sale if anyone is interested. Brand new, never worn still has tags on it. $200 firm.
