I should probably just take some courses, because I keep having issues with computers and the internets. ?
So my kid decided that he wants to try to monetize his YouTube channel. I'm only half listening. He's entering info and then it asks him to sign into some googleplus account (which he says that he did not create) to confirm everything. I told him to stop because it sounded fishy. Anyone have any knowledge on this?

If you and yours go through with it, make sure he's up on "fair use" doctrine and not to use any unlicensed music on his channel. Monetization on YT is going through a rough patch, and you can have stuff taken down or flagged by third parties even if you've done nothing wrong
