****ing bad drivers

Re: f'ing bad drivers

good for you, talk about bad drivers today iwas ride when a female driver pulls out of a driveway without looking, came 2 astop just in time, confronted her ,she say didnt see you ,ofcourse not ,she didnt even look pulling out!

Re: f'ing bad drivers

What vindictive crap? This is the first story I'm hearing on this board where someone in TO had the balls to deliver some instant karma. The GTA has way too many wimps.

If you're going to GoPro your rides, and use the cops to fight your battles, make sure you format your SD cards every single time you go out for a ride. Just because you erase your prior ride doesnt mean the data still isn't on the card. The cops can and will use anything on that SD card against you.

Increasing the violence towards cagers gives them the excuse to retaliate using perceived threat as an excuse. "I thought he was going to hurt me so I ran him over."

Using a dash cam tempts me because I've had too many worrysome moments lately. However I would prefer a repeating loop camera instead of something that had to be erased / reset. Anything out there?

Re: f'ing bad drivers

Next time lightly hit her vehicle when she cuts in front of you... just hard enough to justify a call to the police. Make sure the ambulance shows up to look at any minor injuries incurred and her insurance WILL be informed (they'll have to pay for the ambulance).

Edit: I somehow doubt it, but if she was driving for work (like I do), talking on the phone while driving is grounds for automatic dismissal. We're not even allowed bluetooth devices, calls go to voice mail once we're behind the wheel.

Sparkplug bits taped to the fairings for situations like these. Whip it at the rear window as she pulls into the lot and call it a day. But I gotta say, your actions made my day

Re: f'ing bad drivers

That is why I keep a few marbles in my reservior sock for situations like that......

Re: f'ing bad drivers

Lotta big talking people on here. Must feel big and strong talking about damaging a young girl's property, all safely tucked away behind your keyboards.

She was probably older then me, so I have no problem smashing her phone. I know if I'd actually hit her, and she reported something, I'd get in **** for sure since I would probably be twice her size. Some people actually have balls even if you don't.

Re: f'ing bad drivers

The car owner might not have seen who did it if she was inside, but others outside may have. They would have no idea what instigated it. All they would see is that a rider went and did a ********* thing to a parked car for no apparent reason. How that turns out to be a win for the image of motorcycle riders as a whole is beyond me.

I thought you said you didn't go on blind faith.... hmmm you weren't there and don't know if there were other people around to begin with.

IMO the twat needed a wake up call.... whether or not it was carried out in an appropriate manner is another story. A call to the cops would have done squat. Maybe she will think twice next time about driving the way she did..... maybe not.

She is a killer in the making and needs to learn a valuable lesson. You almost kill someone it gets your property damaged... bet she will think twice before cutting off an other rider.

Re: f'ing bad drivers

I don't think the op has anything to worry about with the cops... I'm sure they'll put 150% effort into finding how stone chips got on the bumper of a car....And with turbo buzz kill, if you can prove her wrong she usually with put her tail in-between her legs and quickly exit a thread.

Re: f'ing bad drivers

Oddly following Turbo's advice, as dour as you think it may be, is the more intelligent course of events that will prevent you from finding yourself in the pokey having your rectum extended by Senor Bambi in cell #8.

Some things, like say setting fire to your boss, are fun to think about and might be good in the heat of the moment, but in the long term they don't always end up being the best course of action to follow.

How is this any different than dinging anyone's car in a parking lot? If they got the license plate how does that prove that this specific motorcycle put that gravel on the car? All the OP has to do is deny he did anything and case is closed.

What I found funnier was that you did more damage to your tires than the car lol. My rear tire is bald I need to do a burnout soon lol.

I'm guessing that since she was on her cell, she spaced on the fact that she was on a one way street.

Normally the right lane wold be the driving lane for the direction she was traveling and turning left from that lane would be perfectly normal. So with that being said... i'd bet $20 that she has NO IDEA why the OP was mad at her so she didn't learn anything from this experience. Some crazy biker guy yelled at her then damaged her car.

I really doubt anything was accomplished from this who fiasco other than the OP satisfying their desire for retribution. I've had my fair share of close calls on the road but they've all but one been accidental. They do make me mad but i have found that a simple conversation with them explaining why you're mad that you almost got killed goes a lot further than screaming at them or removing parts of their car. The one guy that threw his McD's garbage at me while riding down the 401.. his mirror fell off. I figure everyone else deserves some courtesy even though they suck at driving.

When you do this sort of thing, to 'teach a cager a lesson', it can have more far-reaching consequences. For example when someone did something very similar a few years ago, on Snake Road, it resulted in increased enforcement is the area for the better part of two years. During that time anyone who thought that they were being 'profiled', in that area, had one single rider to blame. There are quite a few people, on this board, who will know of the incident I'm alluding to.

Nice one.
My usual thing is to fire my air horn nice and loud. Would have be grand if they got out of the car and not seen you approach. She would have wet herself and interrupted her call.

lots of bad drivers everywhere. yesterday at a light i gave the bike a little rev in anticipation of the light changing. it did change but only for on coming traffic (advance green) so i stayed put. the person beside me took off and was 1/2 way through the intersection before they realized their error (fortunately they were alerted by the honking of horns by myself and the on coming left turners). When I passed them earlier I could tell they were not focused on driving (blank stare, not aware of their surroundings). made sure to put a couple cars between us before switching to that lane.

sad thing is if something had happened the bad driver would complain it's not their fault and not improve.

I don't know what it was, yesterday, but there seemed to be even more vacant and impatient drivers around than usual. To cap it off the last thing that I saw, before pulling off 410 on Steeles, was a couple of weaving riders, on sportbikes, who were using the breakdown lane and off-ramps to pass.

Without naming names, can you give a short synopsis of what the rider did?
