No. It's a letter, not a label.
Call Suzuki head office in the US.
Sorry yes the recall letter, thats what I meant. So what is the compliance label they look for?

A label on the frame with the VIN, stating year and month of manufacture along with some business about the vehicle complying with certain emissions standards and such.
You'd have to check each state's particular procedure, but you can either get the state sales tax refunded or waived since you'll be exporting the bike. In which state are you looking to purchase?I am planning on going down to the states to buy a brand new bike. Do I have to pay the tax twice, once in the US and once in Canada?

Just to let you know guys, I was audited by the mto couple of weeks after getting the bike plated. Keep the paper work for a little while longer just in case.

P.S , were is a good city to look in for a bike? something i can pick up in a day (travel time)
What if your buying a US bike but it has a lien on it, but when a deposit is put on it then they will take the lien off? Would it show up crossing the border that a lien is on it? or could i just pay him in full and let him take care of his lien?
Any ideas in regards to this? thanks!
