I'm giving away money

It's my birthday tomorrow and I am very lucky to not need or want for anything so I thought as a way to pay back the universe I would give away a minimum of 300 or more to the person with the best story of why they need it or know someone who needs it.I already donate to charity all the time but if you want the money to go to charity that's fine too. Let's hear it.

There's a no-kill shelter here called the Burlington Humane Society (not to be confused with the Burlington SPCA). They do the Ruff Ride fundraiser every fall. Can't make it this year due to circumstances. How about sending the $300 to them?

I wouldn't say no worries just different worries.
 
1) I know a couple of girls who get pawed by random men just so they can pay their way to school. Real hard workers. Give me the money, and I'll personally deliver that to them, to the sounds of hiphop music

2) Donate the money to MADD :D <-- While I could do the first one, I could not say this one with a straight face :cool:

If you really want to make a difference and give back (have good karma)... why not rescue a dog? Anyone can give money once and feel better about them self for a while, but if you do on a daily basis by taking care of and helping a dog that might been put down will make you happy the rest of the dog's life.

I'd buy two leaf tickets, then go to a local charity and offer them as a raffle item.


Your $300 can turn into a $1000 donation to a needy charity quite quickly.

I have 3 dogs and 3 horses already , no more time available for another animal

I like this idea even better. I still think it should go towards the shelter though.
