... he's a dick.
His behavoir on the tee at #16 today was disgusting.Total *******!
somebody needs a pat on the back? the money he has raised has affected more lives then any of the time you volunteered. The actual money raised/donated far out weighs the physical time put in to a charity. So he cheated on his wife, that's the life of a celebrity. Sure his kids won't have both mom and dad together, but they will have anything they want in life, unlike most kids from broken marriages, so I wouldn't be too worried about them. I'm sure his ex wife is pretty happen with her settlement, again no need to worry about her.Really? Giving away a FRACTION of his billions makes him a great person? You think he has the time of day for any of those kids? And I bet I've put in more volunteer time (at hospitals and seniors homes in my case) than you and Tiger combined. But let's leave that aside....
...any man who betrays his family by sleeping with every whore he can find ( including the one at the waffle house where HE TOOK HIS KIDS REGULARLY) is a miserable human being. Id have little to say if he hadn't insisted on snagging the trophy wife and forcing his kids to deal with the fallout of his bull****.
And as Haney and all the others have stated... He's a miserable human being.
definitely wasn't his best weekend. It may be time for Tiger to give it up.Yeah, he kinda went backwards a bit this weekend..
Didn't watch it so I can not comment, I was much more interested watching the final groups, I don't just watch golf because of one playerDisgusting, yet I was laughing (at him). I think most people are smart enough to figure out the guy has no class.
<waits for the guys like ZX600 with their noses planted firmly up Eldridge's butt to sashay in and Turbospin the facts.......again>
I lost a lot of respect for him when he had the gallery move the rock for him at the Phoenix Open in 1999.When he cheated on his wife and children,i lost all respect for him.
for tiger to get back to his winning ways he will need to go back to slaying everything with a pulse, amiright?!?!?
Why? It was in the rules that spectators (or even caddy's and competitors) may move any object not related to the hole's defining features. It was a smart play.
Exactly! Last time i played with a guy that threw his club after a misshit,I picked up my bag and said good day.He is a co-worker and i'm told that he never did it again.Yeah, I don't really agree. Golf is a game of honour and that wasn't particularly honourable to me. Was it within the rules? According to the rules official it was..but I don't think you can name another golfer that would have done that.

There are rules...and then there are ethics.
I'm reminded of the incident with Craig Stadtler..when he put a towel under his knees to hit a shot from under a tree because the ground was wet. The rules official deemed that to be "building a stance" and disqualified him. Like, seriously?
Then there is the famous incident where Bobby Jones accidentally cause his ball to move in the fairway and called a penalty on himself when nobody else witnessed the incident. That sort of sums up sportsmanship really.
Craig got to go back to Pebble Beach later and cut that tree down.I'm reminded of the incident with Craig Stadtler..when he put a towel under his knees to hit a shot from under a tree because the ground was wet. Rules and ethics are 2 very distinct thingsExactly! Last time i played with a guy that threw his club after a misshit,I picked up my bag and said good day.He is a co-worker and i'm told that he never did it again.
There are rules...and then there are ethics.
Rules and ethics are 2 very distinct things
Rules are created to guide golfers on what they can or cannot due in order to make play fair
Ethics are for behaviours not covered by those rules
If there is an existent rule that covers a specific situation, then the situation is covered by the rule book and not by the ethic book
In this case
•Obstruction - anything artificial, including the artificial surfaces and sides of roads and paths. The following are not considered to be Obstructions (ie they are deemed to be fixed and cannot be moved):
◦Objects defining out of bounds such as walls, fences, stakes and railings
◦any part of an immovable man-made object which is out of bounds
◦any construction declared by the Committee in the Local Rules to be an integral part of the course
•An Obstruction is classed as a Movable Obstruction if it may be moved without unduly delaying play and without causing damage. Otherwise, it is an immovable obstruction.
that we agree on, but as long as he keps on helping kids through the Tiger Woods foundation, I don't care how many vagina holes he gets sand trapped onKnock yourself out.. He's a dick regardless..
Craig got to go back to Pebble Beach later and cut that tree down.
I've been to two events. The Cdn Open at Glen Abbey a few years ago and the Presidents Cup in Montreal. At both events, almost all the players will acknowledge the applause of the fans and give a high five or something.Gary Player stopped in front of me at one hole,i thanked him for the entertainment over the years. His reply,"Oh no,thank you sir".
Tiger is too focused on his game (or is it his fame) to do much more than tip his hat.His role model to kids...wonder what they thought watching him kick his club?
edit: i really sound like i have a chip on my shoulder, don't i? Dilligaff!
