So if someone offered you a few million to fly off to some exotic location 16 or so weekends a year and race a motorcycle for them you'd refuse?

I was going to get into it and try and explain those that do not understand, but if they don't get it they don't get it, but it was nice of you to give it a shotAll you've done is reveal how clueless you are. Most of the guys (I say most because you still have stocky guys like Dufner that can hit the ball a ton) coming on to the Tour today are coming from college scholarship programs and train like crazy. You have to train to be able to generate the club head speed some of the guys like Dustin Johnson and Camilo Villegas are generating. In fact, they say that if Villegas quit golf and took up cycling full time he's good enough to make the Columbia Cycling Team.
Then there's Kenny Bertram's buddy Rickie Fowler, who's always tweeting Carmichael and Emig on Saturday night at the Supercross races while he's killing time watching the race from his hotel room before he plays Sunday.

Jack has 73 PGA wins in 25 years - 18 majors
Sam Snead has 82 PGA wins in 30 years - 7 majors
so the majors record is attainable and the total wins is smashable

that is a pretty big statement against someone that founded the Tiger Woods foundation, do you even know the kind of help his money and his foundation provide to kids and young adults?
I am sure those kids that are provided with education to become someone and have a good life really hate the guy

Hank Haney says he's a cheap prick. Butch Harmon says he's egocentric and condescending. Steve Williams said he's cheap and will lie to your face, at least he did till he was paid off. 3 people who worked with and knew him well for many years can't all be wrong. Smoke. Fire. You know the rest.
Two remarkably different people (who not surprisingly don't like each other):
Tiger Woods - get hit by his ball in the gallery and you get an signed glove
Phil Mickelson - get hit by one of his balls in the gallery and you get the signed glove.
The difference? With Tiger you get the glove, a forced sorry, and left with the feeling you're lucky to have such a valuable souveneir. With Phil you get sincere chi-chat and the glove............which has five neatly folded Benjamins in it (Bones seeds it with cash before he gives it to him to hand out - he's the most generous spectator striker on the tour).

Lol, please Butch Harmon and Steve Williams are the biggest pricks out there, their egos couldn't' deal with the fact that both of them got fired by Tiger.
Why is Stricker, one of the nicest guys out there be such a good friend with Tiger?
Are we really arguing if Phil is a nicer guy that Tiger? Yes he is, soo?
Tax break? Sure but at the end Kids lifes are changed because of it so all good in my books

LOL. Stricker's friendly with EVERYBODY. The guy spends all his off time in the woods in Wisconsin hunting. Do you really think they're good friends? More like the only guy with a card that will give him more than a hi-how-are-ya, so Tiger gravitates towards him at the venues.
and Tiger's glove is still worth more....if that's what it's about

Really? Giving away a FRACTION of his billions makes him a great person? You think he has the time of day for any of those kids? And I bet I've put in more volunteer time (at hospitals and seniors homes in my case) than you and Tiger combined. But let's leave that aside....

Don't forget Jesper Parnevik. I've seen interviews with him where he said he'd rip Tiger a new one if he had the balls to meet him face to face (Elin was his children's nanny/family friend when Tiger met her through him)

He still enriched a heck of a lot more lives through his foundation that I have. Can't argue with that. Maybe he is a dick, maybe he cheated on his wife, but hey, he didn't kill anyone and he helped a lot of people. Net effect seems pretty positive to me.
